  1. +1 for being able to place TSD waypoints/control measures/hazards/target points in the mission editor ahead of time. Maybe something like the navigation point interface for the F-14?

  4. original SA-11 was introduced in the 1980s so its not that surprising. maybe if ED modelled and released the SA-17 however.... that would spice up the sim
  5. yeah i've been getting this bug too. In the tactical commander slot here, that arrow doesn't get me manual control anymore

  9. this issue still exists on the current OB patch. its just stuck like that
  10. didn't want to start a new topic, but there is no way this unit is behaving correctly in game. A group of scud units will always have their missiles impact the same location all together, and will always have it impact that same location every time the mission is run. Seems like it has a very narrow beam of CEP that it hits every time. See attached mission for demonstration and screenshot. scuds precise.miz
  11. they're two different pods so I'm not sure how you think a difference in the way they operate is a bug. Regardless I've always been able to slew the pod after WPDSG by changing to scene mode.
  12. okay but that is kind of irrelevant to the "is this a bug?" question and that answer is: yes
  13. how it works IRL and how it works in DCS are two very different things. in the sim, the mission editor allows you to have range and bearing for the KC-130, KC-135MPRS, and S-3B Tanker. (presumably the boom tanker one too but i never fly boom aircraft so i couldn't say for sure)

  15. you could always get both distance and bearing from a tanker TACAN, its been that way since at least the Hornet's release. This is almost 100% a bug, or ED forgot to mention in the changelog.
  16. you get range information if you deselect A/A mode for the tacan
  17. is there any news on what should be a core quality of life aspect of the supercarrier? night time launches are unnecessarily difficult. Even a basic light source emanating from the deck crew until the desired quality is better than the nothing we currently have

  20. this may not have been obvious before, but the player/client F/A-18 needs to either be from the USA nation, or in a coalition with the USA in it to be able to access GPS

  22. Approach ATC worked okay for me in testing, but i was at 3000 lbs fuel and no stores. Maybe it has trouble if you are above trap weight?

  24. its hardcoded, you can't fix it.
  25. runway starts has worked for me also for the last few years in multiplayer <_<
