  1. Is it for all commands or just some that you can't clear? It's known/reported to ED that commands with 2 or more modifiers do not clear... You clear it but once you exit and enter DCS again, it's back to default assignment. If you have issues with all commands not clearing I would suggest you delete input folders from saved games folder.
  2. works here fine, I just changed line 5 to country = "EN" and that's it
  3. Aero actually improves performance when not using Full Screen option.
  4. Don't disable Aero Interface... uncheck this option. Disable civilian traffic (it uses lot of CPU cycles and civ traffic is not required for mission anyway)
  5. My version? If you are implying why I am not making one... well I never said I am or will or can make one :music_whistling: These guys were making it and if you followed the thread and screenshot you would have seen this model had excellent quality and was/is well worth making DCS module of... that is if they know/can/want to make it.
  6. you won't get much better FPS just by upgrading that GPU, you would need new mobo/cpu but also bit better GPU than 7870.... so do hold on (and save more) little more... with EDGE we should see better performance so you'll get better idea (and everyone else) what upgrade would be good to go with.
  7. Honestly I doubt you find find such group of people :) I think I am quite a nice guy but I swear a lot :D (ask my squad guys ) its just the nature of the "game", real pilots do it, all military personel do it... I don't see a way around it... it comes with the teritory. Hm... now imagine if TS had some sort of filter for swearing words, lik eon TV that replaces it with "beeep" :)
  8. its been many years since LockOn 1.1b was on my drive so I don't know what exact issue is, I can recommend though to try install LockOn from scratch, this time run the exe as Administrator and install it directly into C:/LockOn folder for example. I guess your user account has administrator privileges? If that doesn't help hopefully someone else will chip more in.
  9. 5 years and nothing came out of it... me not happy :(
  10. I am pretty sure I could have returned it and get another one, but I just couldn't be bothered to get the monitor back into the box (needs 2 people to do it) then drive back, wait for another one (they had only 1 in stock and 1 on display)... so it's all good, it was my choice not to return it... honestly I don't see them when I fly, I only see the lower one when it's very dark image in background, and the second one I really have to look for it to see it, I don't notice it at all (unless I specifically look for it)
  11. well, what can I say, on max setting, 4xAA it still runs alright (some cockpits are more FPS heavy, but in most I get 20-ish FPS when on ground/runway, which I find alright, up in air 30-50 I think, so it's quite playable. This TV has really good image and color reproduction... those 2 stuck pixels I have, only 1 is visible on dark image, the other I haven't noticed at all when flying... so it's not that bad as I first though it will be. The TV position (me looking at center of the screen) is now very natural... and setting FoV in game to match real live FoV is pretty good, its easier to see aircraft (visual) in dogfight, and reading instruments is as easy as it gets, everything in cockpit is crisp clear... now I wish I could get 2 more and put them to left and right side :D (but no $$$ for that, or PC power to run it ;) ) Overall, its was still a worth purchase... I can imagine what it would feel like to have VR (Oculus looking at you) to have as clear image as this TV, and more FoV... it would have to be surreal and can't wait for that next :)
  12. make this temporary sticky :)
  13. ... and then crash ;)
  14. Those give it character ;)
  15. who you calling ugly? :)
  16. May she sell as good as real life production numbers of the Fishbed!
  17. I AM SECOND!!!! WOOOHOOO!
  18. nice tool, tonight I finished most of the changes on my flying setup, fixed the TV lower and little closer (my head is now looking at center of the screen and with TV on desk I was looking at bottom 1/4 of the screen... much better and more natural viewing)... works out I have around 77° FoV now, I'm gonna use that in DCS :)
  19. With 3x 27" I used up until now, I had 60 deg FoV for each viewport/monitor. Minimal stretching with still fairly wide view. Now with the 58" TV I thought I could go higher but with 70 deg and more the stretching starts to show more noticeable (for me anyway). Lxsaper, with single monitor/viewport, the game always zooms out a bit when mission starts... It gets to higher FoV then what I would set.... centering the view with num5 resets the view to the values that are specified in SnapViews.lua file which includes FoV also. With 3 view ports and the game doesn't zoom out.
  20. Yes, sadly it's still not fixed :(
  21. I set it in that Saved Games\DCS\Config\View\SnapViews.lua file... section 13, that one is default view setting when you enter aircraft.
  22. 107° default FoV? Can't be that high, I think most aircraft have around 70-80° default FoV. I have set 80° for all aircraft, but then the game zooms out a bit also, so likely it ends up bit more... it could be I zoomed out tad more with mouse scroll wheel to try wider FoV so I saw the stretching again (which I hate), I have a feeling you don't use too high FoV (definitely not 107°) if you say you don't see any stretching on edges.... heck I even saw it on instruments down low (the round gauges didn't look circular towards bottom of the screen). But anyway, I have taken everything apart 2 days ago and I am slowly changing my flying setup so I can't check anything now as everything is all over the place in the house :music_whistling: so I can't tell you exactly what I've done or re-check again... I hope I get it connected again coming weekend... still thinking how I'm gonna mount the TV to the flying setup and ditch the table it was on (don't need it any more).
  23. Marked on the calendar :)
  24. Can't sit too close, I think I am about 1m away from the screen.
