  1. Don't worry about WPNS DEGD (Weapons Degraded) on the BIT page, those aren't fully implemented yet; you can ignore it. The NO WPYTS cue can only present itself during a carrier alignment, either by radio (RF) or using a cable (CBL) to align the aircraft based on the alignment from the ship and the aircraft's position relative to it. During the INS platform leveling, the aircraft can receive waypoints (up to 10) from the ship. If no waypoints have been received, you get the NO WYPTS cue on the HSI. Receiving waypoints isn't required for alignment.
  2. The XMT option on the HSD is only relevant for transmitting data across the selected network (e.g. sending a steerpoint with Comm Switch IFF IN Long). It doesn't control anything regarding receiving datalink info. As far as I've seen, the main issues that crop up regarding non-functional DL info is the MIDS LVT knob not being on, or an incorrect/interrupted alignment.
  3. The INS is already aligned in a hot start, there's no need to move the knob to anything.
  4. Looks like an Offset Aimpoint. Did you perhaps cycle STP or TGT to OA1 or OA2?
  5. The implementation of LITENING is pre-MSI; ATFLIR would have that type of functionality, but only in A/A master mode, as that's the only mode in which AZ/EL is available.
  6. Post a track then, because it all seems fine on my end. George will make a call based on the current speed vs. the target speed, not the target speed vs. the previous target speed.
  7. The USAF -1 for the Block 50 has the label on the panel, however that's the typical configuration (Fig. 1-3 on page 1-16, and Fig. 1-68 on page 1-154 for reference).
  8. I think George is reading the aircraft's current parameters and choosing a voice line to represent the direction he plans to go. So say you're in a hover and set for 70kts, then bump it down to 40kts, he'll still say "speeding up" if he hasn't reached a point where the opposite voice line would apply. Same seems to apply to altitude commands.
  9. Single rail mounts for the AIM-9 and AMRAAM were never used by U.S. Hornets, same for rocket launchers. That came later with the SUU-80 outboard pylon on the Super Hornet (except rockets, which Supers can't carry at all due to the pylons being toed outwards).
  10. Yes, but it's different. The EXP option is only present under certain conditions: - Only available in STT, TWS, or SCAN RAID. - Trackfile must be designated L&S. - L&S must be greater than 5 miles, or an angle-only track. - L&S must be in the tactical region of the radar display.
  11. AFAIK the only waypoint that can appear on the radar is the designated A/A reference waypoint.
  12. Not really possible, as MSI processing stops in A/G mode, there wouldn't be a trackfile for the radar to slave to.
  13. This is no longer the case. The jammer operates in radar priority mode.
  14. Argument 509 swaps between JHMCS and a normal visor.
  15. You shouldn't have to use OVGME or put liveries in the core DCS installation. Those should go into Saved Games. The F-16 supports selecting cockpit liveries in the Special tab in the Options menu (unlike the F-14). Make sure to select the livery for the cockpit.
  16. The current plan is not until after it gets Image Auto Track (IAT).
  17. This had been brought up a few years ago too.
  18. AFAIK, that's the point where the two planes of the HUD glass overlap. It looks the same outside if VR, and only if viewed from certain angles.
  19. Don't forget you also have access to TALDs, which are great for distracting/draining SAM systems.
  20. You can do OFLY, FCR, HUD, and TGP fixes.
  21. HUD velocity tape will always be CAS when the gear is deployed.
  22. Walleyes are another fantastic anti-ship weapon, especially if mobile and you need fire-and-forget.
  23. If the HOME FUEL caution cannot be calculated by the FPAS, the home waypoint is crossed out and the selection arrows are removed. Every waypoint 0-59 is valid for selection, even if it's all zeros (which is a valid coordinate). One thing you could do is if your home waypoint selection is locked in this manner, is just edit that selected waypoint to the desired location or a location more nearby so the FPAS can calculate the HOME FUEL caution and re-enable home waypoint selection.
  24. Can't see why not, as long as each target is lased independently and roughly in the same vicinity.
  25. Are you using the correct keybind for the specific radio you have tuned to Marshal?
