  1. What are you trying to say? SA-10 is clearly listed as part of the HD model update.
  2. I know. I'm treating the whole labels thing as a bit of a tongue in cheek matter at this point.
  3. It doesn't help anything and is visible at first glance And I pitty anyone trying to run DCS with minimal Anti-Aliasing.
  4. That F-5E dev with his December 24th update
  5. I don't think you're going to get any meaningful information from forum dwellers. I'd suggest simply contacting ED Support.
  6. Black paint (?) is applied with lettering masked to keep the base semi transparent plate free. The paint is matt. As I said, it appears flat.

  8. Exactly. It's both incorrect and counterproductive as far as in-game rendering goes. That's the clue of this particular issue.
  9. There is virtually no outline. You take the panel texture, slap freshly created lettering, de-white it some 5% and you're done. The real labels are THAT sharp looking. All the rest you leave to your mip map generator to handle.
  10. This is a real F-5 panel I own, in perfect condition. The outline you may see comes mostly from camera grain on the overexposed photo. In case of backlit labels they may in fact be very slightly debossed. It doesn't change the fact that they appear completely flat in most lighting conditions. Let me get a better photo.
  11. I was about to post a series of reports with remastered cockpit issues. This being the main one. I intended to title it 'Most of cockpit labels should be convex, not concave'. Or embossed, whatever you wanna call it. Silk printed labels do appear flat or slightly embossed and it happens that's the look that should be reflected with F-5E, and F-5A, T-38 for that matter. Only very few panels may exhibit some "milled in labels" look. There's also absolutely no contrasting outline on the fonts of the original cockpit. Which is rather obvious.
  12. An excellent article! Be on the lookout for 1.1 features landing already int he weekly builds Libre Arts - FreeCAD 1.0: new features and the larger picture - https://librearts.org/2024/11/freecad-1-0/
  13. I will! Curiosity took the better of me.
  14. This one as well? The common "performance tanking when up close" factor seem hard to ignore.
  15. What's your wake turbulence setting?
  16. Clearing cache is almost always just another variable out of the way, not a sure remedy. I'm still on a holiday trip, so can't weigh in myself directly.

  18. And all this with forests not looking that good AT ALL. #bringbacktreeclusters As you can see daily from footage recorded in Ukraine tree clusters are often not traversable even for infantry units.
  19. Feel free to include your modless track along with specs and DCS.log.
  20. Already reported, both in F-5E and general DCS performance bugs. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/366466-f-5-old-not-remaster-performance-drop-in-the-latest-patch/
  21. I plea to have this bugs triaged together. In specific conditions a single object in view sinks the entire game performance. trees - December 4th update, or maybe earlier as it was difficult to notice F-5E - December 24th update
  22. The usefulness of tracks is obvious. But, for my own educational purposes, could you please confirm whether they also contain performance metrics of the recording machine? Like those we see in the extended metrics that are built into DCS?
  23. Beautifully done!
  24. It depends. Load Instant Action - Caucasus - Takr off mission. The AI there are definitelly remastered models, evident by their cannon bay covers open after shutdown.
