I'm thinking you maybe still approaching on the inbound tacan brc radial. This is 9 degrees off from the final bearing (FB) which is the precision part of the approach. So you need to select the AWL/PCD button on the STEER CMD panel (immediately right of TCN button), ensure ACL is selected on the HUD and VDI. This will now show your needles to follow. Maintain 1200 feet till about 3nm (you will be under the glideslope), however, you must laterally fly the localiser needle very accurately. At approx 3nm when you get the CMD CONTROL light, then press the NWS button, the autopilot and data link from the carrier will take over (there may be a slight jink to line up). The critical element is being as close as possible to the localiser, so there is minimal correction required by the autopilot. The system is also not very good in crosswinds Hope this helps. Cheers! Although not in the time frame above, it would be awesome to fly the Community A-4E from this carrier as well. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Lol.... same thing happened to me the other night before you put the fleet defenders in. I was winchester, bingo fuel, about to enter the marshal stack, and noticed tracers flying past me from a sneaky F5. I'm really enjoying the mission, it's great fun to fly with a lot happening in the battlespace, well done. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk -

G'day Surrexen, Well done on the mission mate, a good mix of randomness and objectives. I noticed the CVN group did not engage inbound bandits with AD missiles. I was outnumbered - "Migs all over the place"... lol.... so tried to drag a couple to the edge of the MEZ to distract them, but no AD response from the frigates. Is this by design? Cheers! Willing to give this a go over the next few days. Do I need to add those scripts mentioned in above posts or are they already included in the User Files download? Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk -
Hey Alpenwolf, With regards to SRS, were there particular frequencies we are meant to use? I don't think I saw anything mentioned in the mission briefs. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

In fact, it was fantastic seeing the A-4 flying on the new "hoggit at cold war" mp server last night. Forgot to take a screenshot doh! [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Hey mate, got them all working thanks. A restart of DCS and a re-download of the skins seems to have worked. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Hhhmm, now I'm not getting any bomb impact feedback from the Conventional Circle A. I named it "conventional1" and put the trigger zone "target1" over it out to 656 feet radius, minalt 500m. I noticed a post way back had the same issue but it was never really answered. Any ideas? Many thanks! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Excellent, thanks for the fast reply mate. Didn't realise that was the case. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Hey Folks, I just made a simple training run on NTTR with one strafe pit and one conventional bomb circle, using latest OB and MIST. The script loads and runs correctly (F10-Other), and I get the "rolling in on left zone" text for the strafe pit. Have I read the previous posts correctly in that the hits from cannon/MG are not registered/counted? I made several passes with definite hits (shown in debrief), with "ineffective pass - 0 hits" text showing after pullout. @Ciribob : fantastic work mate, this is a brilliant training tool, especially learning older aircraft with manual bombing/strafing. The 4 you uploaded the other day. So the black aces, marksmen, red ace, and can't remember the other one (at work on my phone). I just tried the latest version Black Aces skin only last night, still had the same result as above. Thanks for having a look mate, it could be something simple I've missed on my end. Cheers! Edit: just got on the user files, the 4 skins are 2OCU Marksman, Black Panther, Black Diamond and Red Diamond.

Hey Strut, no worries mate. In my 2 posts above, I've tried a bit of troubleshooting. So I could get the skins to show in the dropdown list, but when I selected one, it did not load in the model viewer (bottom right ME). Just always shows the default livery. The same for the F2 outside view when sitting on the apron. I have installed them in the directory you posted. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Ok, I extracted (7zip) the lowest folder level into the CoreMods, made a quick mission with Aus f-86, so the skin now shows up in the paint scheme list. When I select it, it still just shows the default skin in the model viewer.... I just know it is going to be something simple lol.... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Hey mrmat01, Hhmmm, I tried them there and they still didn't show up. Did you extract as is or only put the last skin folder into there (ie there is a second folder level) ? I'll try again. Many thanks mate, Cheers Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
