  1. So as an update: with Gamblers out of the way, I am back to the Hornet training (in Marianas though, we need water for this - and a free map is an advantage too). We also started working with @Casmo on Apache one, set in Syria (more popular map than Nellis - and nicer too).
  2. Thanks guys. This system is a real PITA to implement, but works pretty well once done.
  3. No ETA, sorry. I'm dependent on Doughboy, who is working on the scripts, and there were some IRL issues recently that slowed things down. But it will come!
  4. Hey guys & thanks. @skypickle it definitely isn't at the bottom, but I am depending here on @Doughboy who is working on the whole script, and with RL getting in the way things move much slower than expected. Not to mention that this campaign is somewhat "cursed" - working on first part took probably 4 years because in the process a hurricane hit his area really hard and put us back on the schedule by almost 2 years, then there were other issues... but we will get there. On the other hand, good news is I am moving to work on DCS full time as of the summer (quitting my normal job) so I'll be able to move forward with different projects much faster. And I am working on similar campaign to IF for the F-18 (as part of Raven One) and for the AH-64 (with Casmo). I actually think that training campaigns are really needed and that even MP - oriented people may be willing to play them.
  5. I did check and it works fine for me as advertised. Can you upload a track file so I can see what is going on?
  6. Plus the MANPADs are too accurate currently IMHO... but with some practice, they can be dodged.
  7. Hey @Egyptman - first question is: do you have easy comms enabled? Looks to me this is something on your end. I tried it and it all works OK for me and for some other guys that recently flew the mission (they did report some issues, but of a different kind, not with the comms)
  8. Investigating both things, thank you!
  9. It doesn't look like the problem with the mission itself, as I have zero control over such issues. Have you tried to set up a simple mission against some bandits? I have no clue what could be causing this...
  10. There is no Tower freq AFAIK - I think it is part of the lingo, but you should stay on the Marshal. Somebody correct me if I am wrong though.
  11. OK, seems this mission needs revisiting. Good idea with adding the note about the need to perform a stored alignment. Thanks for your feedback!
  12. Sorry, had some IRL family problems, apologies for late reply. I'll will check it this week and fix what needs to be fixed.
  13. It is safe to jump to that point, the mission is long and the option is there for exactly this reason. It seems to me that the MANPADs are too powerful / accurate currently in DCS. Or you really need to learn well how to avoid them. I'd suggest to set up a very simple mission with a MANPAD where you could train just that - and find the best way. Or alternatively you can always set yourself to invulnerable in the options as last resort. The MANPAD is set to lowest possible skill level, so there is nothing more I can do about it...
  14. Hey @RafaPolit! Apologies for late reply, had some IRL family issues to deal with. So: Easy Comms are a big NO-NO for all my campaigns and they won't work with easy comms enabled, there is no way around it. I want them to be realistic and switching radios, channels and frequencies is just part of the whole thing, so you have to disable easy comms to enjoy the missions. As for SRS I don't think it is causing any issues, you should be good as long as you disable the easy comms.
  15. Hey, sorry for late reply @PawlaczGMD - had some family issues IRL to take care of. Did you manage to get past the problem? I'll check M02, but this may be the bug I described earlier as so far for me everything worked OK.
  16. For me it works OK, I cannot reproduce the issue - so this must be the bug I described. The good thing is this was acknowledged by ED and they are looking for a solution.
  17. @Wildvalach you can grab the Raven One: Dominant Fury, which is a prequel to the Raven One. But perhaps wait till June update, I hope to have it fully updated by then!
  18. Thanks guys & my apologies for late reply. Had some IRL family issues to deal with. I'll check this. But first - are you sure you were on AM modulation of the new ARC radio (the top one)? For some reason it defaults to FM and this causes a lot of issues on VHF for people.
  19. Thank you! I think this approach to training is something that many people will appreciate, that is why we're working on a similar campaign for the F-18C as part of the Raven One series (with Kevin Miller, author of the books and Jell-O, host of the Fighter Pilot Podcast). We also recently began work on the same thing for the AH-64. Interesting times ahead!
  20. Thanks & sorry for late reply, had some IRL family issues to take care of. I'll double check the weird behaviour of Blade, shouldn't be happening.
  21. Hey and apologies for late reply, had some IRL family issues to deal with. I will check / update this and other missions in the coming weeks, hope to have all the bugs and problems squashed in the Raven One: Dominant Fury for the June patch. Noting it down to investigate.
  22. If I work on any French module next, that might be the Gazelle. I did quite a lot for the M-2000C and I have a lot of other modules I'd like to work on, even if I really enjoy the Mirage. But I don't plan making any new campaigns for it in the next 2-3 years.
  23. Hey @gszaloki - I suspect you have the Easy Comms set to ON. All my campaigns use realistic radio procedures and won't work if you don't operate the radios correctly or if the Easy Communications are enabled in the options menu. Let me know if that is the case and if not, happy to help you find solution - I am pretty sure the problem is somewhere in the way you work the radios, and not the campaign itself. Let me know!
  24. Thank you @JGS! It is my first and I think I learned a lot since I created it, so hope you'll enjoy the others too!
