  1. Impressive how Heatblur has kept the Tomcat coming through her development. Great to see the features still coming in. I am curious though as to what Digital Engine Instruments entails. Is this some features to be add in the cockpit or some behind the scene coding work?
  2. Thanks Harker The use of the gray scale function has been a mystery to me untill now reading this thread. This underlines the usefulness of Mr Wagner's Hornet video. By the way, I haven't heard from him lately. The last two Hornet mini update were done by someone else. This is hoping he is doing good.
  3. Yeah. Possibly use the platform for the Varjo to develop native support for other consumer based headset.
  4. Can you trying turning off your anti-virus/malware software for some period if you have any installed while you run dcs. Something similar happened to me and uninstalling the malware software and excluding dcs.exe file removed the intermetent (10 seconds) stuttering.
  5. This was a frequent issue for me with the introduction of DCS world 2.5.6 openbeta. Nothing seriously to be concerned about. ED got it sorted out after a number of player complained. You can raise support ticket in ED website to get it fixed.
  6. Yeah I noticed too while doing a comparative test of Bankler carrier case 1 training missions. Great to see ED is not pushing aside the old Stennis with the launching of the supercarrier.
  7. My bonus point is about to expire. Still cannot finish all that is remaining there for what I intend to spend it on. Wish ED would just allow me clear it all with my purchases. May have to forfeit the 9points that would be remaining and accumulates my mileage points which is a better rewarding system.
  8. This is a very handy application to have when the need arises. Dcs is constantly growing in size with update. Not needed now but will keep this somewhere safe. [emoji106] QuiGon
  9. HP G2 this fall? Nice. Means I have got this and the next gen gpu card upgrade to do majorly. Looks like features added are just right for an upgrade for me. Pretty sure the software department would have been stabilized now with experiences from the reverb.
  10. Appreciate the suggestion. My 7600k cpu seems to be doing well at 3.9ghz with a maximum 78 usage in-game My Fpsvr setup normally displays two fps. 1. Cpu fps 2. Gpu fps Fps on the cpu side is usually green and good with 38-43fps. The fps on the gpu side is never green and if bump the SS or PD up for a less fuzzy view, gps fps gets stressed with red patterns spikes. All this said, I have no play-stopping experience. I manage a smooth play even in the new supercarrier. My plan is to get next gen gpu later this year and then overclock the cpu. Thanks once again.
  11. Thanks speed-of-heat for the feedback. Using the fpsvr as my indicator, my gpu tend to be more stressed(full red spikes i.e above 20fs) for the Viper compare to the yellow gpu colors I get for the Hornet.
  12. I have been reading feedbacks on the recent wmr update. I have yet to download this update. I have come to the conclusion that the Hornet cockpit is much better optimized for vr compared to the Viper cockpit with my o+ Any one run a test with the Viper? Thanks
  13. You absolutely have a very plausible point to why I am getting misaligned indicators in the wake of the carrier. I will put those factors in during subsequent practice. Thanks for the insight and your time.
  14. 6.0 version with supercarrier is just fantastic. Thanks Bankler for keeping this updated. Looking forward to using it in the supercarrier. I did notice that there is some discrepancies using the case 1 landing that is the dcs supercarrier mission and what I have learnt using Bankler's mission over time. When I approach the grove for final approach to the carrier, the new iflols ball overlay says I am low forcing me to power up. Following this ball and ils gideslope would puts me well above 380 feet which is required for a good grade in this section of the mission in Bankler's mission. Seems the new IFLOLS overlay guide is using a different gideslope parameter or it is me not getting this new overlay just yet. Trying not to break old habits here leanrt using this mission.
  15. I am sure you can create missions in which you fly off the supercarrier, complete the mission and come back to the carrier to land. The user file section in dcs website may already have some single player missions that uses the supercarrier.
  16. The track replay function can be used to watch. You can get to LSO platform to see your trapping. The replay is been bugged with inconsistence of track record for a while now. Beside the track replay, not sure this is another way to record and at the same time maneuver your camera views.
  17. +1 I will be sticking with the original dcs shaders on the correct openbeta. Looks like they did some deep work on fixing the fps creeping bugs . Some good improvements. Hoping they build on this development. Water reflection in vr shader mod could be disorienting over water especially in night missions.
  18. I use a very close pc configuration. I can get 80-98fps if graphics are in medium range. What is your settings in Nvidia graphics control section? DCS works optimally with nvidia settings in default state but needs setting power management to maximum.
  19. Likewise here. I can clearly see all other modules in my hangar taking the back seats upon release of the tiffy. My combat flight sim days started with this aircraft (famous DID Typhoon).
  20. Click on the FA-18C and select mission, down the list you will see supercarrier missions. For F14 Tomcat, go to instant action section and you will see mission make for the supercarrier for tomcat. It you watched one Wags video on the supercarrier, you will see it all explained. Supercarrier does not have a dedicated module section.
  21. If this really is the Meteor missile, is that any indication that we could be getting a relatively advance model/tranche of the Eurofighter?
  22. Yes you should restart the game to see effect of SS adjustment.
  23. Yeah I saw the kneeboard pages you created for the basic group of spoken command. Those were really great. I can get away with simple aircrafts but the hornet, Harrier and the kA-50 would be quite a hassle to remember. Do you have a profile for the A-10C? I cannot find any for the Warthog. Once again, thanks for a great voice command mod.
  24. I think I got it figured out. Initially made a bad mistake with the installation of Bailey keyboard.diff.lau file. Tried a few commands with the Hornet and it all jived. Great voice controls profiles I must confess. For vr simmers, how do one get to remember those huge list of spoken commands. The spoken command list would need a kneeboard page to reference.
  25. Nice to see your prompt response. For the modules I loaded your keyboard.diff.lau file, they all revert to the default dcs keybind for my hotas. I would need to setup it all up again. I had used dailey voice programming profiles and vaicompro prior to using yours. Also it seems my old keyboard.diff.lau was loaded from my dcs config folder and not in my saved game config folder looking at the destination path.
