Did you try it at night? can you read the gauges? DS on or off, it it still exits? (I have "only" the release version of 2.5, for which 2.5.1 is not available yet).

Not good indeed! :thumbup: And changing the gamma does not resolve the lightning issues of many cockpits at dusk / night. with DS on. I believe anyway that the cockpits are far better also during the day with deferred shading off. Let's hope that THERE IS a fix to this relevant issue in this update, or at least when the update comes to the 2.5 release, which I am using.

Exactly! :thumbup: And disabling / enabling is not a solution, having to wait ages for the shaders to rebuild each time. And by the way, I believe that the cockpits are far better also during the day with deferred shading off. Remember that this is a free map. Let them concentrate on the persian gulf and on all the bugs and problems of 2.5....

Well, this is EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING AND UNFORTUNATE if ED and the developers don't fix in this update the huge disaster which is deferred shading on for the cockpits at dusk / dawn / night, as it has been treated in countless threads in this forum.

It is not only an issue for ED, but for the 3rd party developers... For which planes we paid hard money. FACT remains that most of the cockpits are barely usable at dusk / night with DS on....

Well it is not an issue ONLY with the MIG-21. That deferred shading ON is killing most of the cockpits.... and except helicopters, I have them all...

EXACTLY. :thumbup: A real simmer spends most of the time in the cockpit, and not admiring the nice clouds and terrain....
