  1. Hi. 1 I know there is a way to switch from STEAM to StandAlone, but since I only have SA I can't tell. Do a YouTube search and you will see. 2 I would suggest the F/A-18, altought I personally prefer the F/16. The Hornet is much more complete and it is very versatile. a great toy to play. Also the aerial refueling is easier. 3 Yes. In Mission Editor (ME) put 3 planes in one side (e.g blue coalition) and other three in the other side (red coalition). There you have. 4 Can't tell, as I havent' seen all of them, but almost all Grim Reapers videos/tutorials have both the flying aswell as the config/setup. To me @RedKiteis the master of the universe (DCS universe, not DC). he's videos are direct, easy to understand and absolutelly clear. Saludos. Saca111
  2. Hi. For a non assited start, I think you need almost 70% throttle in the other engine. Try that. Saludos. Saca111
  3. Hi. Yes, that is what I meant. If the picture is with the rudder completely off, then you have got a problem! Looks like a hardware issue, but you said that the pedals where calibrated outside DCS and they where ok, so no idea of what to think. Again, try in another simulator to see how they work. Sorry. 4. I also struggle to boresight the thing; I have to almost crouch to make it concentric.
  5. Hi. Also, don't forget the two weeks free trial for almost every module, so you and your friends can perfectly try them and buy following your tastes. Get the idea that the MP arena is like a sandbox where any module can get in, as long as the mission editor provided enough places/planes and enough kind of aircrafts/vehicles ( think in Combined Arms). There are a lot of free servers around where to enter and try the MP capabilities. Saludos. Saca111
  6. Hi. As I understand it is a Joy WITHOUT spring and WITH FFB ( if FFB, no need for spring). Cheers. Saca111
  7. Hi. I guess that going to STT will trigger the RWR, with or without a missile flying. Other thing would be if the lock is achieved in the russian TWS, but STT should start the alarms! Saludos. Saca111
  8. Hi. Go for the last one, the springless joystick with FFB. This is the one for the FFB joys. Saludos. Saca111
  9. HI. The F-5 has a diferential fuel Gauge, for left and right engines. In the right hand vertical console, underneath where the fuel pumps are, you have a switch to use more fuel from one or another depot. Once the engines are running, put the lever to the left position and the system will compensate for the differnet weights on the fuel depots. Maybe you thought the fuel was ok, but you where seeing the Right engine fuel indicator, not the Left one... Also, don't forget to set the fuel pumps on on both sides. Saludos. Saca111
  10. HI. In setup/controls and Axis, tweak the axis so be a slider, and add some Dead Zone or some X/Y saturation, so the minimum position reads as 0. Saludos. Saca111
  11. This. Otherwise, you won't be able to Alt+Tab to another application. Saludos. Saca111
  12. Thanks, @Yurgon
  13. Hi. Not only it is possible, but hightly recomendable, as it gives you a fast way to modify a function and once you release it no more modifying, while the switch you have to remember to de-activate it, and in my experience this is a pain in the back side. I suggest you use a push button if you need a fast and momentary modificaction, and a "lever" for a more durable modification. To switch from TEDAC to Cyclic and Collective, go for the lever option using a modifier. My setup is: normally, when CP/G, I default to TEDAC, with no modifier, and I use the Joystick and Throttle (and its buttons/axis) directly to control it. If need be to Fly the thing, then I move the lever ( a 1rotary selector) a the modifying position and config the Joy and Throttle plus the modifier to HOCAS controls. When back to TEDAC, selector back to non modifier and voilá! If you have no selector available or free, then yes, the "switch "option is the one to go for, but don't forget to "de-activate" it after use. Saludos Saca111
  14. Aha, great! Gonna try it just now Thanks Saca111
  15. Hi How can you "get control" from George when in CP/G position? Did I missed something in Waggs videos? BTW. I did what @frostycabsays so I allways have the TEDAC in use and only when the selector is On the Joystick and Throttle work as Cyclic and Collective, but I couldn't make it to control the Apache! Saludos. Saca111
  16. Hi. Be aware that htere are two possible ways of doing a modifier. One is , as long as the button is pressed it counts as a modifier press and the other is a "latched" logic, meaning that you press it once and the modifier "stays pressed" and once you press it again it "stops being pressed". Can't tell the exact name as I can't acces DCS now. The first one is in the left column when you open the modifier setup and the second one is in the right column. As I understand your problem, you need to set this modifier as the first one in order to work as you wish, not the one in the right column. Saludos Saca111 EDIT: Could get to DCS; Left one is called "Modifier" and Right one is "Interrupt" (not sure as my PC is in spanish).
  17. Hi. My system is even worse (way worse) than yours and I can fly/combat with it the same as other modules; to me no issues. I can't be on super hight setup settings, but enough to fully enjoy the experience! Saludos Saca111
  18. HI. I also had this kind of issue, not always, and I resolved it from the CPG telling George to fly away and once set in a level outbound flight, I then take the back seat. I think it is a matter of the trim George had before I take the/his place. Saludos. Saca111
  19. HI. What a great idea to use a controller for the TEDAC! Really similar i n layout. Will look in my old boxes to get an old one! Thanks again. Saludos. Saca111
  20. HI. Same issue here, but apparently the problem was too much time between eng1 and eng2 starting procedures. It is true I had to pick up a new bird, but since that moment I can start the 2nd engine no problem. I also tried the collective thing, but no joy! Saludos Saca111
  21. Minutes?, Weeks, I 'd bet! Saliudos. Saca111
