The apache does not have switches on the pedals. Force trim is via the force trim release on the cyclic which releases the pedals for retrimming and the cyclic simultaneously.
-
Yes the pedals have trim. Yes it’s linked to the cyclic trim button. No there is not a separate button for pedal trim. The uh60 has buttons/switches on the tail rotor pedals if you’re looking for pictures I’m sure you could find some.

Are you hitting the jett button below the selective jettison or the collective jettison? I've done both, both worked for me, I didn't notice a difference tq, but the visual worked. If you're selective jettisoning you need to hit / bind the jettison behind the selection. If you're collective jettisoning, you need to bind the guard and then the button. With collective jett you do not need to select which stations you're dropping.
-
You're leading with too much cyclic. Unless that's your intent to roll a bit.
-
You can fly so you don’t get rotor rpm high and the aircraft won’t think there’s something wrong triggering the auto page to engine page function.
-
HMD no, because your head is the sight, I guess in DCS you could disable your head tracking as a method.

So. IDK the correct as is mark. In single player it worked appropriately. in multiplayer, the rocket steering cursor is still supposed to be in motion or active. I'd get a track file of it and report the bug.
-
So just did it on the practice range and a multiplayer. It appears in single player it's working appropriately, multiplayer rocket steering cursor was freezing when in coop. Didn't have him dropping the target issue though.

I-Beam is driven off of TADs. So you have to tell george too look at the target area.

[Noob] How to select another waypoint on the TSD?
kgillers3 replied to VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants's topic in DCS: AH-64D
TSD > RTE > DIR > Either caq W03 or click "Point:?" and type W03 on the ku. Safe flight -
Uh ish. I guess. Set yourself up comfortably my man
-
You talking for the real aircraft? It’s adjustable
-
You can also slide it towards the other mpd when hits the edge, release pressure of the cursor controller then press it towards the other mpd and it’ll go over
-
Landing light yes. It's on the collective, Idk if it's bound / set up in dcs
-
3rd option. Limit NVG FOV. So you can just look under it

correct as is AH-64 Second Trigger Detent Laser will not Stay On!!!
kgillers3 replied to JOEM423's topic in DCS: AH-64D
I think the confusion is if you pull and hold the first detent the laser will still only fire once, so in order to keep the laser firing you would use your second detent, which is why it was explained that way, but it is still a pull and hold as @XPACT has stated -
I love his videos got me through too

Possible to have TADS as sight without image on IHADSS?
kgillers3 replied to arneh's topic in DCS: AH-64D
Was it NVS norm? is that what you meant? If you meant NVS norm deselects TADs as a sight, yes that's accurate. -
Also make sure you're sight select HMD, if you're sight select TADS it will affect the TDU brightness and symbiology on the TDU itself and not the IHADSS brightness settings.

Questions after the first couple of sorties
kgillers3 replied to TheCrysinator's topic in DCS: AH-64D
- Can you see George's stored targets? - ACQ > TADS and you can use VID > TADS (Right side) > TADS (Top button # 6 on the MPD) It'll pull up his video. As far as stored targets, I think the previous comment from @ORboarder is accurate, he's not actually storing any targets unfortunately You can follow the tads los and crosshair on the tsd in conjunction with the video page and add a point there if you'd like - - When would you use the IHADSS with the TADS as sight IRL (this combo messes with my brain)? - It's situation dependent and some people like it some people don't, if you dislike it you can "turn off," I've bound mine and use it for frontseat. - Is there a way to latch the laser e.g. when engaging with the gun? Would you do this IRL? - What do you mean by latch the laser? If you mean slave the gun to the tads. It's based off what your sight select (bottom left of your displays shows what you have as a sight, CHMD / PHMD for IHADSS or TADS for Tads, pilot cannot use TADS as a sight source) If your sight source is tads and you weapons action switch or WAS gun it will be looking wherever the tads is pointing. Then CPG can lase as he see's fit for range updates to the gun. -
Also I was just making a funny, wasn't talk'n down on you. My b if it came across as that way.

So if I understand this correctly you're saying TSD > RTE > DIR > Point ? and typing it in it updates correctly. You get the fly to and a line from your ownship to the WP. But If you Cursor acquisition it doesn't work? If you're able to get it from 1 way but not the other as far as starts it sounds like a bug potentially. Also for Cold start you're waiting for the INU to finish aligning so the aircraft knows where it is before you're trying to direct to it right? Sorry I'm not trying to be insulting or anything, just trying to understand the situation

Possible to have TADS as sight without image on IHADSS?
kgillers3 replied to arneh's topic in DCS: AH-64D
Nah, so I swivel the HDU in and out of my eye pending the situation. It's all dependent on the situation and what you like. Also if you're going to go goggles down HDU gets moved to the side. First question, if you sight select Tads yes. That's accurate. It will mirror the Video and Target symbiology both on the TDU and the HDU. Second I'm assuming you mean NVS - Norm, I'm getting ready to mess around so I'd have to play with it. To understand what you mean. -
Yeah no worries, I like it the way it is, but everyone is different, the luxury with your own controls is you can tune it how you like.
