Startups yeah, but running I haven’t seen too much stick to the canopy after startup. It happens. I just haven’t seen it. I think it also has to deal with what they clean the windows with too but idk If it sticks then it’ll start to cake on, it won’t come off with just blowing on it and when you turn the wipers on if you have to it creates some sick scratches. Generally the peeps I know just wash the windows prior to flight. I’m sure there’s a crew chief on here somewhere. Also at @LooseSeal it also depends on the type of dust or environment. If it's like that thick moondust, that stuff is miserable. If it's like normal kinda sand and what not it doesn't stick too bad.

If you don’t have vram to spare you probably got rain turned off too. it’s also planned to be incorporated

Just an observation. I think this is 2 requests in 1, you guys aren’t asking for a cosmetic addition your asking for actual concept of skis spreading ground pressure out. But your also asking for ed to model snow in depth in order to make it worthwhile. Which they could do a blanket coverage of x depth anywhere is snow and it always reacts the same. Or they could rng it, either way. Interesting request.

I mean I’m planning on trying to run just the joystick and collective axis’s that I have vs running another controller but that’s because I don’t wanna hold something, and in the aircraft the tedac handles are fixed so my hands just rest there. Nothing wrong with y’all’s plan. Using another joystick as the thumb force controller, you can easily get away with it you may want to bump up the sensitivity settings for slewing zoomed in but idk how sensitive it’ll be in dcs. Could easily work.

I’m with you I just bought the virpil collective, so it’ll be here when it gets here.

For clarity I was joking about the go fund me. I’m just in the wait phase of hurry up and wait and bored -

Oh symbology Up / down. Honestly it depends how much night flying you’re planning on doing. I don’t think you’ll have to move it from double bumper tho. Running an Xbox controller with no ir track, idk how much fun night nvs will be. Not my place to decide. However, moving between transisition and hover at night will end up being pretty essential because at hovers. It’s impossible to determine your drift from sensor until you’ve moved quite a bit, unless you’re staring straight down and keeping your head in one spot. So unfortunately those get used a bit, they’re used a lot during day too but honestly it’s not as necessary. The benefit of not having ir track is as soon as you stop moving the camera it fixes so you can’t confuse head movement with aircraft movements! Big win -

So fcr scan size and tads zoom have to be two separate switches. unless you’re gonna double bind them, which probably would work As you have it now here are my suggestions. I’m just waking up so still a bit groggy. no modifier laser trigger swap with cued search weapon release move to right thumb z axis I just realised, you’re going to have to move laser trigger and weapons release down to left modifier. Unless you’re counting on iat / ai to take care of tracking for you. you’re going to want iat down, can’t think of the name off top my head but to reset / drop. I’ll think a bit more on it, worst case I think you have a working product that you can fine tune after you play and move things around so it’s easier. best of luck -

I would combine sight select with was, radar functions as close together and tads as close together as possible, they’re a little intermingled and you’re gonna be forcing your self jumping more from modifier to modifier than necessary I think. As close together I mean on the same modifier button. Delineate like that as much as possible, there’s only a couple cross overs, you’ll use was more with tads then fcr especially at early release. -

I’d say with the limited amount of buttons and it being a game you could probably drop and realign alittle Force trim doesn’t work like that of a hind. Unless the arrows are place holders for the hat then I’m back with you. you can drop fmc release, it’s for an ep and people confuse how the fmc in the ah works in comparison to the ka, be my only guess why it’s there maybe one of the dudes testing it know something I don’t but in the real aircraft it actually hurts your controllability, unless you meant it as force trim release, but still doesn’t make sense because that’s apart of the force trim hat I was referencing earlier idk. You don’t need the boresight button it doesn’t do anything for this year. I’d personally want polarity a higher level, generally for hunting I’m a white hot guy but if I’m at distance trying to identify something I swap, also when flying under nvs I generally use blackhot. I hope this helps man. Oh you missed your sight select I think double checking Nm found it -
@Remco and I literally got told that we wouldn’t say Tads on this forum! but I’m back with ya now

It was sarcasm back at homie sayin the force on force stuff is pointless. Seemed pretty apparent with the ridiculous back and forth within my sarcastic post but I like the call out

Red platoon was a good book I thought on it and pale horse has kind of the aviation perspective from a bn cdrs perspective. But pale horse is a lot more broad strokes over the deployment.

I mean not everything will be 1-1 and I’m no programmer but that’s gotta be terribly hard to get tuned right. I imagine it’ll break a couple times in game and then it’ll smooth out with updates

Let’s plan realistic missions that can only be done realistically in today’s political climate but then let’s also take off over max gross as a single ship without a major coming in to tell you the plan is now different the day of launch wrecking your 49 hours of coffee enraged planning based off of old intel for air threats. can we pick a side of realism! Gosh

Now granted you can probably whip your head around easier in game with track ir so idk
