  1. YES! Amazing! Thank you for this update, it looks incredible.
  2. Hello, Sadly the Hellfires are still limited to the same range as the Tow missiles, so best to try and hit within 4k or closer. The flight behavior can be a little odd, and we had messed with the Weapons laus to try and get them better in the past. I will tweak them some more and drop a update when I have them tuned in.
  3. I use Combined Arms a lot, and I too would love to see this fixed!
  4. Hello everyone! With the new kick a$$ Minigun Gazelle now out, I finally got around to honoring the many requests I've got to get this mod working again. For now, I've just re-enabled the Hellfire x2 or x4 for the SA342 M, and the FFAR 19 pod or UBM 32 pod for the SA342 L. I'll try to get around to completely updating and expanding soon! Place the Lau file in the link below in your C:\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\SA342 directory and you are good to go! Enjoy the new capabilities! See the first page for more info :) DOWNLOAD https://www.dropbox.com/s/x2whd3t3b871638/SA342.lua?dl=0
  5. I heartily second this! THANK YOU, EAGLE DYNAMICS
  6. I opt for an option on this- one that can be set server side in the mission building options and/or in the special options menu for players. I'm all for realism but since it is a FC3 aircraft, some options would be great. Thanks for adding this awesome jet!
  7. What is AWESOME is that Heatblur has decided to bring the LANTIRN to the Tomcat, as I understood prior to this is wasn't confirmed. That is indisputably AWESOME. ED will improve IR simulation with time, they never said anything about it being revamped in 2.5.
  8. I do not share this experience. I am a primary VR pilot and I truly enjoy Normandy. I get great performance! What GPU do you have?
  9. I echo that this is an AWESOME addition, but if any ED developers see this- the ability to bind the touch control functions and/or have a right mouse click button would be ideal!
  10. Eagle Dynamics is the KING of combat simulation! Thank you for this!
  11. Sorry, I just watched it after upload and it is a complete mess. I'm FIRING Shadowplay and my current video editing software! Time to find something else!
  12. Howdy Harrier Fans! I've released an expansion to my training missions that started with a Field Carrier Landing Practice site, and now has grown to include a functioning fleet with a ship based LSO. As in the last mission, you will need both Normandy and the Range Weapons Object's mod, all those files are included in the link on the YouTube video's description! Credit to the 476th and Stuka for the Range Objects mod! I'll be releasing a totally mod free version in the near future!
  13. My Squadron is using the L-39ZA as the aggressors for our Harrier training in a few weeks. I think it should be a fun match up!
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if the TOR could intercept the AGM 122. In my experience with the U.S. Army's FireFinder Radar, we can track a single round fired by OPFOR Arty up to about 20km. That being said the FireFinder is small and high mobility, but I can't get into specifics since the latest versions of the radar are classified. The radar on something like the TOR is probably notably more powerful than something like the FireFinder. Either way it's pretty amazing what radar can do.
  15. Over a year of VR flying under my belt and absolutely no intention of ever going back. Manage expectations, but lull the trigger. The immersion CANNOT be beat! If you wondering about Rift versus Vive, I own both, and IMHO the Rift is clearly superior, especially for DCS use. Good luck! Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk
  16. Hi guys, I need to update this mod, so hold off on trying to use it until I get it up to speed! I'll try to do that asap Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk
  17. What GPU do you have? My DCS VR performance is smooth with PD of 2.3 Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk
  18. Thank you, sir! A ship based version with an auto LSO is in the near future!
  19. Here is a new video showing the FCLP used in multiplayer by the Black Knights vSquadron. It's also a tribute to RAZBAM's AWESOME Harrier! We are enjoying it so much! The FCLP Mission has also been updated with an automatic LSO that can be toggled on and off. A video explaining that is below, the download for the mission is in the video description. Merry Christmas, DCS fans!
  20. All I can say is- nice job, RAZBAM! Looks incredibly good!
  21. Thanks! The video is working now if anything in the mission seems confusing, it may clear it up! I'll release expanded and updated versions in the near future.
  22. Hey fellas, I made a mission trying to simulate FCLP, with a Tower/Approach and LSO that can be used via the F-10 menu. This can be controlled by the player, or by another user if someone wanted to be a LSO. This mission was made for my Virtual Squadron who is kicking off a multi week training on the Harrier, but I thought I would post it here for the community to try if they wish. The mission does require the 476 Range Objects mod which are included in the linked file. You will need to put them in your /Saved Games/DCS Open Alpha folder, and allow it to overwrite. *NORMANDY & THE WW2 ASSET PACK IS REQUIRED! DOWNLOAD: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lyehu7rmk5oh117/AADnDJaj7rDNHd247ejtJeJBa?dl=0 *Mods- if this needs to be moved, feel free, I thought it was related enough to go here but apologies if I'm mistaken :) *All due credit to the authors of the 476th Range Objects, the 476th vFighter Group & Stuka. The mod is in no way or form my work, it is included as it is a dependency.
  23. I thought I recalled some of the HOTAS animations for the Mirage coming after early access as well. Either way, it hasn't bothered me and I'm sure RAZBAM will consider doing it after more important things are finished up!
  24. After more reading and a few hours testing, my personal conclusion is Viffing is pretty much a last ditch low speed gunfight tactic, simply because it requires neat total loss of airspeed and thus makes you a sitting duck for a heater. I read some things that stayed Viffing was why the Harrier was successful in the Falklands War, and others that say Viffing wasn't even confirmed to have been used, and that training was the reason for the Naval Arms success. I tend to believe the latter. Aside from Viffing, I've found the Harrier has decent handling in a dog fight, and the 4 AIM 9s can be a threat to many aircraft meaning to do the Harrier harm. It's not a fighter, but it's certainly not helpless either. I'm glad we got a striker that is so versatile Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk
  25. The harriers flare system is glorious. I love how it dispenses and its a pretty effective looking pattern! Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk
