  1. Hi Bignewy, maybe you had an opportunity to look this up since February? To me seems pretty much similar to or the same problem as just reported in this recent Bug report: And maybe you can change tag from"need track reply" to something else, as I attached the track the same day you asked for it. Thanks
  2. I don't think slipping would do anything good to the on speed AoA and the VV. Let alone the 3.5 degree glide slope to follow... Then rather slight crabbing. If you are left of centerline, then put the VV on the right edge of the island, then as you come back to centerline, try to put the VV to the middle or left edge of the island, or even try aiming at the Crotch.
  3. And that would be a simulation of... hmmm... which airframe?...

Especially the Master Volume, which by looking at it seems to be maxed out, but you still need to turn it down and back up again. If you do it with all the squelch switches OFF, you will hear when the volume kicks in. Then you can turn on all squelch again...
  5. Doesn't work for me. I always need to recenter after looking back to sink back into my seat...
  6. Hi Gents, used VRNecksafe with no problem in IL-2, but in DCS if I look back in any direction in the Bf-109, when I return to forward view, it looks like I would be standing upright in my seat, or even higher POV, looking forward. Anyone else experienced this, and how to solve it? Thanks
  7. I respectfully disagree. You will definitely have to use the stick for aileron in a Case I, so better learn early on to change bank without interfering in pitch. And generally speaking, low speed regime is never the best environment to play with the rudder anyways... My 2 cent at least...
  8. I might sound silly, but are you sure it's not in fact George Pilot drifting in hover ever so slowly to the right, while you are looking at the TEDAC? Because I had exactly this issue previously. But I couldn't reproduce it...
  9. Just poking: are you sure Space isn't required to proceed? Also check your Controll binds to see if the Slave command is the one binded and it goes out in fact from your joystick.
  10. AC hardbutton at right bottom of the MFDs, then press FLT, then press SET, then turn RDR ALT to ON.
  11. I did not find it among the bugs, sorry if brought up elsewhere. If I'm not mistaken, every time when a wingmen or other friendly Apache takes a Hellfire shot, my CMWS goes off, making me frantically looking for the threat. If am right about this, then is it true to life as it is in DCS? I wouldn't think so, because it is pretty contraproductive even in a sim, let alone in RL. Buy I'm happy to be corrected, if I'm wrong in any regard.
  12. Collected partially from other topics, but all the possible reasons for missing CMWS audio warning can be: If cold start, you need to turn on Weapon/ASE/UTIL LWRS ON (circle filled). (Don't know if it was like this before, buit now it is.) (Also don't forget to turn M hardbutton/FLT/SET/RDRALT to ON, this "default OFF" position also seems to be new, but now you have to to see RDR ALT in numerics on the scale) Even if Audio panel (at right knee) Master Volume seems to be in a MAX position at first sight (!), you need to turn it back down and then turn it back up to max to really have it on. You should hear white noise with the SQUELCH switches OFF. Probably a bug, dunno if old or new. Swith all SQUELCH to ON afterwards, noise will disappear. Turn all audio volumes to MAX (top and botton row) Obviously need to turn on CMWS itself, plus switch to ARM, and CMWS, and AUTO or BYPASS as you wish. Hope it was not irrelevant, sorry if it was.
  13. I think it is rather a visual workaround for ED to display the aerodinamyc tilting of the main rotor (and individual blades). The only problem they only should visually tilt if they have aerodynamic force on them, in other words if they are spinning, not on the ground, standing still. I didn't want to go into too much details, hope it's enough to understand.
  14. Not sure this will fix it, but a side note nontheless, DCS manual and real life manual both say you advance both throttles together up to FLY after both engines stabilised at IDLE. So engine 1 start and Throttle Lever 1 to Idle, the Engine 2 start and Throttle Lever 2 to IDLE, then advance both together smootly up to FLY.
  15. Sure, that's what I did for the second time around...
  16. You mean inside your Apache cockpit with 2 engines roaring, and wearing a sound isolated helmet? Hmmm... really weird...
  17. If you use axis for it, give a BIG curve for it in Controls, Axis tune. I think I have set 60 or something...
  18. Guess you didn't leave your voice switch at NAV eighter? Just a tought...
  19. ATT Hold already works in normal flight regime, dunno how accurately tough
  20. I'm in a same boat, but hush, don't spread it!
  21. I want to give it a shot. Can you write just some short bulletpoints, how to convert to Open XR, please?
