rephrase. You DO need to disable CSM! It's the only way it'll work. see my sig for my specs. BAR is working for me, but I had to disable CSM. Lots of threads out there saying you need to do this. -
I tried your settings, and I do like the sharpening . This MOD is incredible! I'm going to tinker with the saturation & contrast a little, but your sharpening value really seemed to make things pop for my G2.

posting a follow-up. I received the new cover last Wednesday, and have been using it for the last couple of days. I can say it does seem a bit better than the original. Agreed, it's a good addition for the G2. thanks again OP for the heads up!

with your 9700K, are you overclocking at all? You can safely get away with a 4.9ghz with that CPU. The CPU bump alone will help your FPS too. (see my sig for my specs)

"dang it" you guys! quit finding this stuff!! Naw, this is really cool. I'm going to download, and then create a JSGME mod for it, (and put it into my DCS bin dir), and give it whirl later tonight.

for what it's worth, BAR is now enabled on my rig. My MB already was at a firmware level that supports BAR. I just did the nVidia driver update, and the 3090FE firmware update too.

Interesting, I do have a BIOS on my Z390 for reBAR support. As you say, BAR may actually only work via the Z4xx & Z5xx MB's. If I get daring in the next day or two, I may try just to see if I get anything. In my MB BIOS screen, I do see the ability to enable it. edit: have seen some threads where is says 10th and 11th gen CPU's needed. So that would take me out of it. Ah, regardless. I'm having a good time with my 3090, and these thread post settings listed here...

My Z390 Aorus ultra MB came out with a BAR BIOS in early Jan. I installed it about a month ago. I've just been awaiting the GPU bios and driver updates. Both of which are out. So I might try it. Was thinking of waiting a couple of days first.

same here, mine just updated today with: 10.0.19041.2041 I was on the older driver & firmware too. Now both the driver and firmware are up to date. (firmware: 1.9.36)

FWIW. Just another data point. my specs below in my sig. I've been running just fine similar to dburne. I've also been leveraging most all of Speed-o-h's guidance/settings.

do a search on how to reinstall Win10 and keep your files and apps. (that's a key component, "keep your files and apps"). It'll keep all your data, but you'll have to go back and reset some of your customizations.

I've been giving the Mi-8 a lot more love now. Especially after getting the "Mikhail" Collective Controller! Thanks Grajo, love your mods! It'll be awesome to have the Afghan map at some point to pull all of this together.
