  1. ditto Yes, I believe the same
  2. Seems you have not even tried the assets that I mentioned ... all of them are independent of any Module, and are in fact free for all DCS users.
  3. Sorry but I couldn't disagree more ... I love the fact that Heatblur gave us the Forrestal, Razbam gave us the KC-130, the S3 Tanker and the South Atlantic Assets, and Deka gave us the Chinese Assets ... I would never attempt to limit the desires of a third party, and I look forward to the USS Essex and the A6M Zero that Magnitude3 has promised.
  4. I can imagine it, the new luftwaffe pilot gets asigned his F-104G and then tells his CO he doesnt like the worn cockpit and ask for a brand new one … he would be cleaning baths in no time
  5. there was once a tool by @FSFIan that allowed for a 3d view while editing, but it only worked with dcs up to version 1.5 https://github.com/jboecker/dcs-me-3d-view
  6. On my side it works with no issues, and the pdf can download perfectly: Probably an issue with either your browser or the pdf reader you use.
  7. taking into account the amount of work that writing one of these Guides entail, I wouldn’t mind if they did require a fee.
  8. yes, here is a sample mission on how to acomplish that: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/141024-smoke-markers-help/#findComment-2853654
  9. I have an middle of the road pc with a ryzen 3600 cpu, an rtx 2080 gpu, 32 gb of ram and a 2 tb ssd, so your problem doesnt seem hardware related. you edit missions in vr? Back when my vr gear was new, I still edited in 2D and only the mission testing was done in vr.
  10. Perhaps because it has two sets of textures: summer and winter
  11. You don't provide much data, but I'd guess that your PC has either 16 GB or less of RAM, or you have DCS on a traditional hard drive. On my DCS the missions loads in under 20 sec, as seen here:
  12. Hello all, An update on my prior post: The user @Seasick has kindly provided me with an original copy of this Campaign, so the search is over. So, I sent a copy of the Campaign to its original author, @leonardo_c, so that he can have access to his prior work once again. I'm still mid-way with editing a MiG-21 training series, this one: but as soon as I finish it, I will start with updating this Campaign as the MiG-21 is still one of my favorite DCS modules ... hopefully I will have these projects finished before the Mig-29 arrives Cheers! Eduardo
  13. You really should read the manual: https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/systems/electrics.html#circuit-breakers
  14. There are a dozen threads just like this, search a bit before initiating another one. Sorry if I sound rude, but seriously so many threads on the same issue gets tiresome.
  15. thanks a lot for maintaining this script current, I will test the new functions on a rocket training mission that I’m editing for the mig-21
  16. yes, mine has two m2 slots (asrock b550 gaming 4), I imagine there are others.
  17. Were you running dcs in offline mode? I ask because during off-line mode you cant have any change on your pc config, or the game will assume it was copied to another pc
  18. Hello all! Recently I found on YT a video series with this Campaign: I'd like to update it so it works with the current version of DCS, adding new weather, updated AI units, etc, but unfortunately, this Campaign isn't available anymore at User Files. I contacted its author but as so many years have passed he does not have it anymore By any chance, does any DCS user of the MiG-21 still have it on his DCS stash and is willing to share it with me? The Campaign's author gaved me his permission to update it if I can get a copy of it. Thanks beforehand for any help that you can give me with this. Greetings, Eduardo
  19. I know that you are probably just joking, but having documentation is just one of the items needed to develop a DCS aircraft .. almost as important is having market demand, ED needs to sell enough copies to at the very least cover the development expenses. So, it seems doubtful to me that a relatively unknown aircraft would sell well.
  20. Either the exception is not properly specified, or your Bitdefender subscription has lapsed, in which case Microsoft's Defender takes over (and would need an exception in that case)
  21. Hi, thanks a lot for clearing that up
  22. Not the case of the F-5 remastered, but other aircraft can have an enormous quantity of skins, for example Heatblur's F-4E cames with over 60 standard liveries, plus you can have downloaded a further 160 from User files. That could lead to having to select skins from a truly large list. This way the sim only shows those that corresponds to the country you are flying for, which is a much smaller list.
  23. there are none yet, only skin for the old F-5
  24. Hello @BIGNEWY, Can you please suggest to the Team adding Uruguay and Colombia as a country? We already have most of south america, but these two countries are missing best regards, Eduardo
  25. Strange ... they show up fine on my updated DCS:
