  1. cant be sure if it is the same issue, since you don’t provide your log file.
  2. Have you tried to run DCS without user mods enabled? .. just to discard that the issue is not caused by an unwanted conflict between the viggen and one of your user Mods?
  3. No, probably not, but I can for sure cut my loses and stop purchasing more Modules ... I already have enough DCS Modules to keep me entertained for years. You are not being offensive, I understand your point ... mine is that I can't simply sit and do nothing, and the only thing I can do at the moment is just to stop buying more DCS stuff, I feel like it is the only way I have to make my concern show off to both ED and RB. This is not a boycott, that option needs more people and organization ... this is just plain me trying to cut my loses, I can't simply let the money I spent on all of the RB Modules (and that I purchased at ED e-store) go to waste. I agree, and I'm not saying that ED is on the wrong side ... but I did purchase the affected Modules on THEIR store, so they do have a responsibility on this issue.
  4. I agree, since this RB issue started I have skipped on pre-purchasing both Afghanistan and the Chinook, where I previously used to pre-purchase almost every module. Now, I'm really torn with the upcoming Kola Map, which as a big fan of the Viggen I have looked forward to having for a long time now: on one hand I'd like to stick to my resolution on no purchases until the RB issue is solved, but on the other I really really wanted to fly on Kola .. probably I will wait until I can see a full review before deciding one way or the other (while prior to the RB issue I would have bought at first chance). Hopefully ED will realize that it is losing sales, however small or large they may be, and strive to fix this dispute quickly.
  5. I dont agree ... I'm not a charity case that need free stuff to be thrown at me ... we all know how long any DCS Module takes to make, just look at some of the free aircraft Mods and how long they have to be in development before release, that time represents development money, and in that light US$ 10 for increasing your FC-3 level aircraft from 7 to 10 seems like a truly reasonable price.
  6. move the carrier on the Caucasus map, all the way in the needed direction, and then repeat the edit to the theatre field.
  7. You can use the keys: Left Control + w Another way is, if the mission is of your making, add this trigger to have the hatches open at start: I'm attaching an example mission Caucasus Ka-50 cold start.miz
  8. To me it looks like either a Hardware or Windows issue, it does not seem a DCS issue since the crash occurs within a DirectX 11 dll A Hardware issue also seems unlikely, since he says other games work fine, so that leaves Windows as the most likely cause. The OP is using Windows 11, dont know exactly how he repaired it, but if it were my system I would try to repair it by doing a Windows 11 upgrade to the same version, the procedure is: You can download the Windows 11 ISO from this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11 When that ISO file downloads, double click the ISO file, then run Setup.exe and select the Upgrade option, this way you won't lose any of your data or configuration, but the windows DirectX files will get reinstalled.
  9. 10 dollars to upgrade from FC3
  10. unlikely, it will be the same as when the A-10C II and BS3 came out. not likely, you will need to edit the mission, replace the aircraft, and save it as another mission if you want to keep the original.
  11. Actually I do have a bit of confusion about exactly what airbases each map country will have, and what will be the pricing ... will there be an EA discount?
  12. But having to remember arcane key-combinations is almost as taxing on my brain memory
  13. ok, but this thread is about "fix all the issues" of the module, not overhauling it. When I purchase a dcs module, I buy it "as is", there is no compromise of overhauling it every few years … it would be an impossible cost for the developer to have the original price cover the cost of such overhauls. on my case, the issues that the L-39 has do not bother me all that much, and I feel that the flying that I have done with it over the years make it a worthwhile purchase, so I don’t feel "scammed" at all, but that’s me
  14. It doesnt happen on my end, but windows does complain that the program can't attend my click request:
  15. 60 bucks? … you really ought to take advantage of the frequent sales that ED does, I paid us$35 for my L-39 during a sale back on 2017. You could also have avoided this "scam" by doing a free 2-week trial before purchasing, or at least take a glimpse at this Forum to gather opinions prior to spending your money.
  16. How would you implement it? Some Me-109 placed their kill marks on the tail, while others had them beneath the canopy, how would DCS distinguish?
  17. Nevada has no sea, so no carrier ops are possible. Heatblur's F-4 initial release is an E version, so no carrier capable either. Hopefully a sales success will trigger the addition of a Naval variant.
  18. Yes, but pity that the successor is nowhere as easy to use as the original ... I will stick to OvGME and simply waste a bit of disk space by keeping the few large Mods that I have in uncompressed format. Did you saw this plea at CH website? "Please DO NOT redistribute the mods without permission!"
  19. I'm currently re-learning the Vigggen and will soon study its ELINT abilities, I will post here any findings that I get. I find it curious that no one from Heatblur acknowledged the bug report made by the OP, I know that they must be busy with the Phantom, but at least one person of the team should be maintaining the Viggen, isnt it? Edit: here is a very recent video, by @deephack, on the Syria Map and the ELINT feature seems to work normally:
  20. The argument is 167. A value between -1 to 0 is when the light is Off, a value from 0.01 to 1 denotes a light On. Here is a test mission. I found the correct argument using the Modelviewer utility. It is very tedious as there is no way to get the argument of a cockpit element, I had to try moving arguments (metodically, I tested every 10 arguments, as the warning lights make for a fairly big group of arguments, once you find one, the others are nearby). 21. Never happens to me, since I have the DCS Folder excluded from the AV action. Why should ED fix it? It is an Antivirus fault ... you can report the issue to your AV support line, they will inspect the file and told you if it is really infected or not. I think it all boils down to who you trust more? Eagle Dynamics or your AV maker? If you want to be 100% sure it is a false positive, send the offending file to your AV support, they should be able to identify exactly what virus they have detected, if any. Can't help with that, as I dont use SRS, hopefully someone else can share his experience.
  22. Here is a video walkthrough of one of my missions, on ccip bombing: The T-45 sight is pretty accurate, so you are unlikely to miss the target
