  1. thank you, yes everything went well, my right eye was done last May and now the left eye was done as well. Next month I will have a last control and will then be given a prescription for reading glasses, for driving I won’t be needing glasses anymore , so really happy about the whole thing.
  2. yes, sadly you are probably right … Windows is so bad, that many users believe the best way to solve issues is reinstalling the thing rather than looking for the root cause
  3. yes, but make sure to do a backup of the /saved games/ folder, to keep your missions, logbook, keybinds, etc (the keybinds will need a file rename, as they depend on the USB ID of windows, which will change with a new windows)
  4. run the mission again, when you exit the mission there is a button to "save track file", attach that file here to take a look at your issue
  5. usually value=1 pushes the butt0n, while value 0 releases it, which aircraft are you using? (The commands are different for each aircraft) Edit: just got home and assuming you are using an F-18, did a quick test mission and my prior assumption was correct: a value of 1 pushes the button and a value of 0 release it. The ON/OFF requires a small delay between press/release, 1 second worked for me: here is the mission if you want to try it: F-18C setup TCN (by Rudel_chw).miz
  6. none that I know of yes, this is an old thread, the current way to get the codes is this:
  7. not the same result, the authorization error is gone and there is a new error: EDCORE (15212): # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00007ff837d8eff3 00:00000000 your windows has a very small swapfile, try your increase it to at least 32 GB, here is a guide if needed: https://www.windows-tweaks.info/en/guide/set-swap-file-in-windows-10-11/
  8. I truly have no idea how to fix this issue, I’ve only run this Mod in single player as I don’t fly MP, so, your best bet is contacting the developers and report the problem in detail, as just the problem description isn’t enough data to fix this kind of problem.
  9. Looks like an authorization issue, check that your computer date, time and time zone are correct, and that you are using the correct dcs account password.
  10. I only edited the training, @nibbylot has more knowledge of the Mod inner workings.
  11. The old name was M92_Tanker, but i’m not sure if it was changed when it was added as an official assets, pinging @currenthill to ask this.
  12. Try this: set them not as statics, but as units of type fortification and tick on invulnerable
  13. ok, will take a look at that bug too.
  14. ok, the mission looks at the trim gauge needles to check its amount, do the trim needles move on your pc? thanks, but its not a pleasure trip, but a medical one: i’m fixing cataract on both eyes, not life threatening, but I wanted to restore my vision as it was starting to bother me .. I’m returning home next saturday and hopefully can fix this issue soon. Cheers!
  15. Thanks for the reports, I will check the mission as soon as I get back home, as I’m currently on a short trip. best regards, Eduardo PS, here is a video I recorded when this mission was finished, can you tell me please in what moment of the procedure you get this issue?
  16. not a listing, but there is a way to get them on the Keybindings screen, i’m away from my main computer at the moment, but these are some general commands that I know:
  17. Add this trigger action at the beginning of the list: x:set command 816
  18. it’s always nice to know what’s behind a nickname, but I tkink he was referring to @Someone
  19. thank you, but I regret a bit the female voice I used for the instructor, the one I used for the viggen’s is much better.
  20. no, because the view settings are stored within /saved games/ not on the dcs program folder you would have to delete or rename the file snapviews. lua, then dcs would recreate a default file on its place
  21. I’m on a one-week trip at the moment, but will check this as soon as I’m back home, thanks for the report. Edit: Can confirm that the airbrakes are currently broken: https://github.com/whisky-actual/Community-JAS-39-C/issues/114 The issue with COM2 was fixed some time ago, but somehow the Mod still has the old version of the mission, here is a link to the updated one: JAS39 - Training - M01 Cold Start (by Rudel_chw).miz Best regards, Eduardo
  22. The file is now active: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3347234/ only three missions for now, but hopefully I will add some more later as I’d like to do a training for the Radar employment. best regards, Eduardo
  23. Agree, but the developer has released a patch on Discord that fixes this, I'm attaching it here if you want to try it. save it on the bin folder of the mod, overwriting the prior file. I have not tried comms on multiplayer, but I can contact the ATC once in the air with no difficulty, see my video above. VSN_F104C_EFM_wip_Update_x.x.099a.zip
  24. employ the "UNIT'S AGL ALTITUDE LOWER THAN" condition.
  25. Hi, Today I finally managed to complete the Tacan & VFR landing training mission, it works like this: I just need to add and correct a few details and hopefully tonight I will upload the set of three missions to the User Files section. Eduardo
