Der steile Anflugwinkel ist kein Problem, entscheidend ist dass du beim Flare genug Schub hast, um die Klappen ordentlich anzublasen. Jedenfalls meiner Erfahrung nach. Ich hab ehrlich gesagt keine Ahnung, welches FOV ich habe :lol: ich hab mich irgendwann mal in Rothenburg in eine MiG-21bis gesetzt und geschaut, was beim Geradeaus-Gucken in meinem unmittelbaren Blickfeld liegt, und dies auch ungefähr bei DCS so eingestellt. Das heißt am oberen Bildschirmrand liegt bei mir der obere Rand der Frontscheibe, am unteren Bildschirmrand liegen die drei Durchladeknöpfe für die Kanone. Somit kann ich auch alles gut ablesen (etwas Kopfnickerei vorausgesetzt). Hab allerdings einen 27'' Ultra Wide mit 2560x1080.

Der Rumpfrückenbehälter der linken Maschine... sowie die "Mini-Grenzschichtzäune" - für mich definitv eine MiG-21. Sowas hat weder SU-9 noch MiG-19. Ich glaube die MiG-23 ist schon lange in Arbeit, deshalb durfte sie RAZBAM auch nicht machen.

In the Eastern Bloc states they were also used to communicate under radio silence. Different colors would mean different actions to be taken e.g. attack a certain target etc.

Hmmm.... am I the only one that has difficulties to disconnect the chute after landing?! Neither the push button nor the key shortcut does it.

Yeah but in DCS one has to release the stick in order to grab the mouse and switch off the landing lights. The real MiG pilot just had to release the throttle, thus keeping his right hand on the stick and keeping control over the aircraft :D I don't see a problem in having a cycle push button though - I wouldn't like to assign three different HOTAS switches only for adjusting the lights.

Ich schau nach Feierabend (könnte allerdings auch erst am WE werden) in meiner Bildersammlung aus Preschen, ob ich dahingehend fündig werde. Ich fürchte allerdings solche Detailaufnahmen sind rar. Klar. Gerade die Versionen mit PRMG/RSBN waren doch dafür prädestiniert. Die MiG-21 war seit den 60er Jahren bis zum Ende der 80er das Standardjagdflugzeug der Warschauer Vertragsstaaten. Die MiG-29 kam ja erst 1988 zur Truppe (zumindest in der NVA). Das Abfangen in der Nacht stand damals bei der MiG regelmäßig auf dem Plan. Aber da wurde man halt vom Boden aus ans Ziel herangeführt (kein Vergleich zum AWACS in DCS). Das Radar wurde zum Erfassen und Feuern benötigt, niemals zum "Suchen".
