  1. In general, when someone says trim the plane, it means that you have to trim it in such a way, that there are no forces on the stick, basically the aircraft remains in a fixed attitude at a specified speed. When someone says trim on speed, it means you have to trim it in such a way, that your aircraft maintains the perfect AoA for landing, indicated by the yellow circle. And as it is the AoA for landing, you should be in a landing configuration. But if you do it in level flight or on the standard 3 degree glide is up to you. You just have to trim it in such a way that the aircraft maintains the on speed AoA. The trim is mostly the same, regardless if you are in a descent, level flight or climb as long as you maintain the speed. Trim changes with speed, so once you are on speed, you shouldn't have to touch trim anymore until touchdown if trimmed perfectly. Trim is one of the very basics of aircraft. You can easily find hundreds of thousands of ressources online about what trim is. Here's an example: https://pilotinstitute.com/aircraft-trim-explained/
  2. That doesn't look like it's coming from DCS. Were you running any other software besides DCS at the time of making that screenshot?
  3. No, in the air it should fill up all the tanks anytime.
  4. That is correct if you had once upon a time both or either version installed (stable and openbeta). But as nowadays they are again unified, one of them is not needed anymore.
  5. Well, you have tables with the limits. If you don't want to kill your engines, you need to know the limits. And then it's just adjusting MP/RPM/blower to stay within engine operating limits and working the 3 cooler handles to keep the Oil, Cylinder and Carburetor temp within the limits. There is not much else a tutorial is able to teach you other than know the limits. If cylinder head temp gets too hot you can either increase speed, lower MP or open the cowl flaps. If carburetor temp gets too hot you can increase speed, change blower or open the intercooler flaps. If oil gets too hot you can increase speed, lower MP or open the oil cooler flaps. If you are at full throttle and MP keeps dropping, you must adjust blower. Just to mention a few examples. If the temps get too cold you can obviously do the opposite Look at the table on the left wall for general engine operating limits. They are probably in the manual too if you want to print it/not snap your neck.
  6. Go to the controls, press on "Axis" at the bottom and then click on the axis that is affected by the issue, and then press on "adjust axis" or something like that. A new small window should appear where you can customize the axis, including curves and deadzones. If the movement of your pedals is only very small but constant, you should think about setting a very small deadzone.
  7. Yes, it will remove the attachments you deleted from the posts in which they were. As an alternative, you can also use external hosting websites. Imgur for pictures, Dropbox for other files, as an example.
  8. You have to go to your profile and then attachments and delete unwanted/unused attachments to free some space again.
  9. Have you checked and adjusted your axis/deadzones in either aircraft?
  10. What voice? Your ingame character voice? Your voice with the ingame Voip? If we want to troubleshoot this, you have to provide a whole lot more infos.
  11. Units requiring an asset pack are already marked in the unit list of a mission, though probably not in the list you particularly think about. You can also sort that list by modules or other parameters.
  12. Ground units should always come with full ammo by default. And they should also automatically rearm when they are within the rearming circle (black circle around a logistic unit). Just be aware that it can take several minutes to reload a unit, depending on how much and what kind of ammo.
  13. There's more to it than that. You also need to check if the model has a damage model (damage sections, lines, perhaps even decals). So it's not as simple as changing a zero to a one.
  14. Spark plug fouling may manifest itself by slightly reduced power. The other stuff, you cannot really meter/monitor the degradation besides the sound the engine makes. If you hear strange noises, like banging, perhaps chugging or other strange noises, chances are that it's too late and the degradation is already quite advanced. The only thing you can activly do however is to prevent degradation in the first place by always staying within the limits and clear the plugs from time to time.
  15. There apparently is spark plug fouling modeled so you have to clear the plugs in a regular interval when running in eco settings. Hot temperature also degrade the engine as well as too cold oil, at least at start. No, FOD is not modelled, so you can use RAM air at any given time without fear of damaging the engine.
  16. Try searching for access/maintenance panels or something like that in the controls.
  17. You padlocked an enemy, basically locks your vision to an enemy like you said. Just press F1 or Num5, that should unlock it again.
  18. Can you perhaps upload a short track showcasing your issue?
  19. Will it still be a requirement for everyone to must have the PTO Assets if one wants to join a multiplayer server that uses these assets in a mission, or have you found a way yet of not splitting the community behind these "paywalls"?

Have you pressed CZ? No? Do it, it is very important in the F-16. It will become your best friend.
  21. The unit setting shouldn't affect aircraft avionics, though I think FC3/4 is an exception in this regard, but I am not sure. So the F-16 for example will only show you imperial units, and that has always been like this. The unit setting only/mostly affects units outside of an aircrafts cockpit, so F2 view, mission editor, F10 etc.
  22. Every post you made with your trains received positive feedback/reactions. How you take that as "negative zero interest" is unbelievable. Do you just ignore every bit of positive reactions and focus on the negative only or what? But hey, your choice. If you perceive all that bit of positive reaction as non-existent interest, so be it. There is certainly interest in what you are doing, even if you don't get hundreds of messages about it. There will and always be the dozen bunch of people happy for every bit of asset provided by people to improve the game, even if they don't directly express themself.
  23. There is no blur setting. You can however install a mod that should make the vision more clear.
  24. With flaps you are shifting the center of pressure and decreasing the lift, so both can happen simultaniously. Shifting the center of pressure will result in a different moment around the CoG and that in turn, in combination with the design of the wing and tailplane, will dictate how the aircraft will pitch, while the loss of lift will result in sinking/less climb. This is just a matter of normal aircraft physics/how it is designed. Even a Cessna reacts with a bit of pitch when operating flaps.
