  1. @yoyo WSO AI will not be released with the module, but will come later. And it’s no problem as all weapons and sensors can be used from the front as well. It’s not split duties like the F-14, it’s shared.
  2. Cool skin! Is that available anywhere or just private?
  3. The two hand controllers in the back for the WSO are not movable sticks. All the slewing is still done by mini-sticks at the top of them under the thumb.
  4. As I understand it, There are a few switches and systems that need to be powered up in the back (there will likely be keybindings or some solution for turning those on from the front when flying solo). But apart from the obvious disadvantage of being one brain and 2 eyeballs down, you should be able to employ all systems/weapons from the front seat.
  5. Almost as good as MAGIC CARPET or "Maritime Augmented Guidance with Integrated Controls for Carrier Approach and Recovery Precision Enabling Technologies"
  6. Ok @Nahen... that's genuinely interesting. I'm SHOCKED... SHOCKED I TELL YA! Good find! @strikeeagle Where were the Vortex Generators installed on the E when you took the CFTs off? My inner aerodynamicist would like to know.
  7. That's not an F-15E. Can we please stop this thread, its tiresome.
  8. The dual function of that button is something the real aircraft does, not a DCS specific thing. I don't know how you could do it with DCS currentlt to have different controls base on weight on wheels. However what may help you is to look at control modifiers. I use them a lot. I hold a button on my throttle and all my hotas buttons have different functions. Very useful!
  9. This looks great! Would it be possible to have a “Stock” version for people who fly without HDSM or similar. So just the cards that are actually applicable to the systems actually installed in the base sim. I think it would be helpful for people learning, to not be confused by extraneous, non applicable data. Just a thought.
  10. Hate to disappoint, but that’s not a Strike Eagle, so you won’t be able to do that loudout. That’s the prototype F-15E which was modified from an F-15B, had 4x 4 bomb MER and 1x 6 bomb MER on the centreline, mostly so they could fill it with dummy bombs for promo photos. I do like the green on green colour scheme though!
  11. @St4rgun This is not a bug. Looking at your original screenshots it seems as though your position in VR is somewhat higher than intended. I fly VR exclusively and don’t see this issue in the hornet at all, but I sit lower in the cockpit than you.
  12. Are you playing on a laptop? If F2 is giving you volume control it’s usually a added function key setup for laptops. Can you tell me exactly what laptop you’ve got. If so.
  13. Are you doing a full alignment? If so, Are you confirming each line of the INS info (Lat, Long, Alt) in the first 2 mins of the alignment with the Enter key on the ICP?
  14. Great little snippet of a full interview which is really worth listening to in its entirety.
  15. If you want to play with some gunpods, the community A-4 has some which are quite spectacular to play with.
  16. That would be a pretty shocking design oversight if the TFR interfered with the FCR lol
  17. I don't see anything wrong apart from the gray crosshairs instead of it being white as mentioned before. The IR sensor of the D should naturally be much less clear than the TV camera of the H/K.

    Release Date?

You do realise that the video was titled "2022 And Beyond" right? ED made no statement that the F-15E was going to be out in 2022. What makes you assume EDs contracts don't have such stipulations? You have no idea how long RAZBAM have had a contract with ED for the F-15E. Razbam has been open about the fact that they shelved the F-15E around a decade ago and its only re-started development relatively recently. This forum was reactivated in Dec 2020, after having been hidden in 2014. I would suggest that Razbam haven't been sitting on a contract for the F-15E for a decade or more and that it's much more likely that they signed a contact to make the F-15E around the time or after they re-started work on it.
  19. I asked my brother about this, who has around 500hrs on the Viper and this was his reply. "The real F-16 has no adverse aileron yaw worth mentioning in any symmetrical configuration. It has a computer specifically designed to keep the pointy end forward, and it does it quite well. It should roll around the velocity vector and the FLCS should do everything needed to keep the ball centered while it's doing it. While the FLCS does function differently in landing gains the ARI is still functional and should null all unwanted yaw and/or sideslip." Please bring this up to your SMEs.
  20. We're going to have to disagree with each other on that one. My default 2D view is at least 6 inches further forward then would normal for a pilots head position, Almost in line with the throttles when the engines are off. I'm not saying head back against the headrest is correct either, but the default 2D view is definitely (at least IMHO) moved forward for improved HUD FOV etc.
  21. It says in the description of the video. The data was extracted AFTER the flight using the Tacview program and then overlayed in the editing software using Dashware. It is not a live set of gauges, they are added to the video afterwards for the viewers benefit.
