  1. Hi, Maks. A link instead of screenshots would be more helpful to community managers to find that bug report previously. If you can find it again, post a link to it so they can merge or bump the report.
  2. Pretty much we all know. The whole system needs an overhaul, perhaps 're design'. It saddens me the state that it's in.
  3. ...Yeah, the silliness is often off the charts sometimes here for new incoming things (I'm tired, boss™). I can't imagine the work involved on pushing out so many models as a hobby for a videogame as Currenthill did. For folks who just won't get their hands dirty on making a single dent of contribution to DCS to say it was a 'school boy' level work is unbelievable. We all need these models in the sim. We are short of them immensely. Instead of complaining about the quality of 'free' stuff, get to work on something. My thoughts exactly. We need them. Doesn't matter if a bolt or a grill is miss placed by a few cm. For a mod made at home, they are unbelievably nice; to look at and having in the sim.
  4. This level of nitpicking is just wild.
  5. Can't do all at once...
  6. Boredom. Everyone that enjoys FC level will naturally crave full fidelity one time or another. Looking at only weapon efficiency is a flawed vision.
  7. Just booted Hornet Caucasus instant action: Ready on the ramp. Trim is working normally. Check the wing handle open and locked down.
  8. Can you confirm the typo? 'Flaps' instead of 'trim'? Flaps to half, wings down AND handle locked. If the wing handle is not locked down, the trim will not move.
  9. Probably caused by the cloud shader combination with the DLSS algorithm. Can you test with DLAA only to see if it is better? If it does get better with DLAA, the cause is the clouds rendering method causing the DLSS some confusion.
  10. Yup, as seen in this gif:
  11. Ah, my bad. It went over my head.
  12. I can't view your track at the moment, but I remember wing flickering on the F-4 recently. Don't worry about it too much. I'll post here when I make a flight with the F-4 soon. Update: I haven't found any graphical glitch with the F-4 wings. Try to record the event when it happens.
  13. 1000% agree. A ton of dynamics missing. It doesn't. You need to keep inside its tolerance box. Pilot side issue.
  14. Ctrl+Z, Shift+Z, Alt+Z controls the time compression globally. Replays and not.
  15. I'm as well in agreement with that thought.
  16. This calculator is more for feels than function. I would end up with 40° FOV where I'm comfy with 60 to 65 on racing games (simulators). And 85 to 90° on SCS Truck Sims for SA while still being able to read the dash. For DCS 106-107° proved to be king for me. Higher situational awareness and much easier air refueling while taking advantage of easy to access zoom buttons on hotas. On youtube, lots of folks with lower than ideal FOV which renders everything harder to do and unwatchable. Everyone should experiment with FOV values at their own pace and setup. Fully ignore 'rules' and calculators online for it. Most likely you would end up with the wrong FOV for you harming directly your enjoyment of the sim. ....speed sensation will be highly improved as well. 106° single screen: Around 106-107 ish great for formation flying:
  17. Full. Up to knob to 'Nav. Don't forget to set 'TGT1' on the Nav computer, before setting the knob to 'Align'. Shown on 1 ...Plus turn on the RWR yourself, where before Jester would turn it on automatically after his INS alignment procedure. This picture on the manual, also included into the default kneeboard, helps: If the mission have 'stored heading' set, the switch for HDG MEM will be on the right position to stored heading alignment by default. Just need to check for the align green light for the intended alignment method you want and you're all set. https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/systems/nav_com/ins.html
  18. Happy to see the INS stuff being fixed on the next patch/hotfix, but hey, it made me learn a few things on the back seat including the INS. One thing that still a bit weird is the input on the Jester UI. Sometimes it only wants the mouse input while ignoring completely the Track IR, other times it accepts both. That happens with both mouse and Track IR boxes selected, of course. You guys keeps that flame alive. Keep rocking. Phabulous module.
  19. NO! There are many parameters that a 2D screen is a flat out disadvantage against "being there for real" and the zoom function balance things out. The rest: yes. Leaning forward triggers zoom? I don't have that feature on my end turned on. You can remove that if you do.
  20. @BunnyKeeper I can't reproduce the track on my DCS due to an error. The JHMCS is working fine on my end. Check your DCS for any mod as Silverdevil said. Double check if you have all 3 MFDs turned on before testing the JHMCS with at least 1 engine fully started up and the generators on as well.
  21. You can disable directors in the mission options (see mission editor) or in the supercarrier special tab. You can also ignore the directors without going over the speed limit, to avoid such scenario. No need to remove the directors for everyone because of that. It is a very simple thing to avoid.
  22. Jester doesn't seem to be turning on the INS from cold start.
  23. Some settings also produces higher impact on low altitudes. Major example being shadows from 'default' to 'flat' can improve more than significantly the performance above large urban areas and dense forests. One place in particular was: 35.800941, 45.231598 North West of Sulaymaniyah between the mountains. Somehow the 'default' shadows were causing major dips in performance there. Is there any chance you can update the post to point out where in the map the samples where taken from? I don't own the Apache, but would need to open DCS ME to see where the mission starts. Good post.
