  1. Hey friend, I was having age related issues too - however a friend recommended a couple of books for me, and well I feel 20 years younger (everywhere, as embarrassing it is to say). If you have the time, take a look at a book called The Starch Solution by Dr. John McDougall. It won't fix everything, but I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone. If you have Netflix then you can watch a documentary called Forks Over Knives, or What The Health. They are based on the same topic.
  2. Both saitek pro flight and saitek combat pedals are fairly sub par imo. They feel like toys to me. I was able to get reasonable accuracy out of them for general flying, and taxiing, but aiming the GAU-8 on the A-10, or for helicopters they is frustrating to use. I feel like I'm fighting the controls. They are better than not having pedals, but if you are able to afford/justify something more expensive then it's definitely worth it for something like VBK etc
  3. For all DCS aircraft or only WW2?
  4. Apparently he learnt nothing from Disney's "The Rocketeer" :megalol: pMQwT9z0Jyc
  5. I don't know about anyone else, but I would like to see some multiplayer PvE. A squad of players completing(or all losing) against a challenging mission. Perhaps playing against a time limit or with limited aircraft. Or even a historic mission. It would be cool to see a squadrons plan's unfold, having some fly CAP for strike aircraft. Viewing wise it makes it easier to keep track of one team.
  6. I love the original movie, but this trailer at least makes it look a bit generic :(
  7. Still if I were flying a spaceship I'd want at least a 5" extension on my warthog for that extra fine control :P
  8. Guys feel free to send your scratched VPC products to me :) I'll pay the postage happily.
  9. Just another angle of the Warthog from Alien: Covenant :) Flashes up for 1/4 of a second hah
  10. https://www.x20.org/color-night-vision/ I have no idea how this is possible, but it's very cool (assuming it's real) - especially the FLIR overlay.
  11. We might have to wait for ragdoll and skeletal animations in DCS 2.5 before we can attach bad guys to our aim-9's EDIT: +1 for Arnold pilot and for the Huey as well like in 'The Running Man'
  12. Saitek X-45 throttle in Terminator 3
  13. Wouldn't the exchange rate be the same? Because regardless of where you are physcially located temporarily, you'll still be exchanging your home currency to USD right?
  14. He did have some real photos of a working CDU for the A-10 a while ago but I think that was the last of it. I hope he's just decided to focus his time on the project instead of updating the forums :)
  15. Absolutely, choice is great :) I was just viewing it from the time and effort angle. If this is a small start-up company, then I'd rather have the hardware first, and hopefully not delayed by creating some software. I obviously wasn't pontificating, hence the 2nd sentence ;)
  16. I've only ever had to use the CH/Saitek/TM software if I need additional shift states or to mimic buttons that aren't available by default. But since this grip has so many buttons and hats (and I'm guessing the throttle will too) then all we'll need is the DCS software. But I know some people like to do it all external of DCS.
  17. Happy New Year Hegy :)
  18. Very nice grip! Finally a universal grip, suitable for every DCS module. Folding trigger for Ka-50 Dual stage trigger for A-10 and WW2 planes Analog Axis Hand brake for the older Russian birds Enough hats for any module And an adjustable desk mount!
  19. Yes, especially if you intend on flying the 3 aircraft in multiplayer together, then 3 separate accounts (one for each computer)
  20. Very good write up :)
  21. Are you trained to use those swords? :)
  22. When I start with a new plane I like to wipe out all of the default controls that the sim has put in, and only map the 4 axis you need for flying(pitch, bank, yaw[rudder], throttle), and buttons for flaps, air brakes and wheel brakes. I also wrote this guide to help out people with mapping their controls: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=324154615 Happy Flyings!
  23. Philips Fidelio X1 - trackclip Pro compatible
  24. If someone comes into your home, then punches you to defend themselves from you, it's justified?:music_whistling: I will stop derailing now sorry. The gif you posted is too good :D
