  1. Ensure your Windows power plan is not an economic mode.
  2. When I try to unzip the full .miz, I get an error with this sound file:
  3. The log seems to point to the dictionary file contained in your miz. I attached it. It has "\" everywhere. I don't know if it's normal, but it looks like carriage returns. 2024-04-02 13:33:13.635 DEBUG LuaGUI (Main): GUI Error: [string "./Scripts/dictionary.lua"]:606: can't unzReadCurrentFile GUI debug.traceback: stack traceback: [C]: ? 4. Are you using the Model Viewer from ./bin-mt/ ? (you should, the one from ./bin/ is deprecated)
  5. Is Hyperthreading turned on? Does the score match the one displayed on PassMark website?
  6. Yes, exactly. If you load each model in the Model Viewer, you will notice the difference. If you want to take a look: Run the Model Viewer (from the bin-mt folder). Load .\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\FA-18C\Shapes\f-18c.lods In the Args window, set value arg 8 to "1.0" (wings will retract). Now, click the red square button (show DM model). Do the same thing with the Lot 20 model (.\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\FA-18C\Shapes\fa-18c.lods)
  7. F-18C model (bug): F/A-18C Lot 20 model (no bug): Issue reported.
  8. Try this in your NVIDIA control panel:
  9. Hi, please try this in your NVIDIA control panel:
  10. @Rolds Devs ask for a Caucasus track. I tried my best to make one but I suck hard at AAR. Could you please make one? Here's the miz. EDIT: Nevermind. A fix is in the works. Caucasus_AI_S3B fuel rate issue.trk.miz
  11. You don't need one: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/give-your-pc-a-fresh-start-0ef73740-b927-549b-b7c9-e6f2b48d275e
  12. In this thread, another user had the exact same symptom. A W10 refresh was needed: Please note that a W10 refresh does remove some programs and settings. Backup all you data before trying it. Beforehand, try and disable your antivirus/antibloatware before you start DCS.
  13. Perfect, thanks. Well since your log is very short, I'll paste it entirely here: === Log opened UTC 2024-04-01 08:33:27 2024-04-01 08:33:27.221 INFO EDCORE (4112): system affinity mask: 1111 2024-04-01 08:33:27.221 INFO EDCORE (4112): process affinity mask: 1111 2024-04-01 08:33:27.233 INFO EDCORE (4112): CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz [1x L3 caches] 2024-04-01 08:33:27.233 INFO EDCORE (4112): CPU has uniform cache size 6 MB (per cache) 2024-04-01 08:33:27.233 INFO EDCORE (4112): all CPU cores have the same efficiency class 0 2024-04-01 08:33:27.233 INFO EDCORE (4112): all CPU cores have the same performance class 0 2024-04-01 08:33:27.233 INFO EDCORE (4112): common cores: {2, 3} 2024-04-01 08:33:27.233 INFO EDCORE (4112): render cores: {0, 1} 2024-04-01 08:33:27.233 INFO EDCORE (4112): IO cores: {} 2024-04-01 08:33:29.247 INFO EDCORE (4112): pause10: 0.005352 us (std dev: 0.044121) 2024-04-01 08:33:29.247 INFO EDCORE (4112): pause10: 154 cycles (std dev: 1152.5) 2024-04-01 08:33:29.248 INFO EDCORE (4112): Created boot pool: n:4 2024-04-01 08:33:29.251 INFO APP (4112): Command line: "D:\DCS World\bin-mt/DCS.exe" 2024-04-01 08:33:29.251 INFO APP (4112): DCS/2.9.3.51704 (x86_64; MT; Windows NT 10.0.19045) 2024-04-01 08:33:29.251 INFO APP (4112): Application revision: 231704 2024-04-01 08:33:29.251 INFO APP (4112): Renderer revision: 24955 2024-04-01 08:33:29.252 INFO APP (4112): Terrain revision: 24991 2024-04-01 08:33:29.252 INFO APP (4112): Build number: 73 2024-04-01 08:33:29.252 INFO APP (4112): CPU cores: 4, threads: 4, System RAM: 16322 MB, Pagefile: 11776 MB === Log closed. Standby, this brings back memories. I'll check where I've already seen this. In the meantime, you can try these solutions:
  14. Welcome to the forums. You should see this under the text box: If for some reason you are not seeing it, you can use a tool such as WeTransfer. The log we need is located here: "C:\Users\your-login\Saved Games\DCS...\Logs\dcs.log" (Windows may display the name "dcs").
  15. Thanks for the heads up. I don't see it either. Issue reported.
  16. I see no signs of freeze in your log. Are you sure the problem came from your client, not from the server?
  17. OK. Just in case, you can try and run these exe files: .\DCS World Nightly\distr\vc_redist.x64.exe .\DCS World Nightly\distr\vcredist_x64.exe One of them will probably stop with an error: that's OK, it happens when the component is already correctly installed.
  18. Weird, indeed. You really should try MT. What happens if you double-click DCS.exe from the bin-mt/ folder? To recognize MT from the main menu, look at the version number. You should see this: I have no idea, but I dont think so. This ST issue is reported, but ST receives less and less fixes. MT gets priority since only MT will remain in the end.
  19. Thank you for the script. I'm able to reproduce the issue. It is now reported.
