  2. The radar needs to see the contact twice in 6.5 seconds to create a system track. At that point, you’ll see a hollow box. If you TMS right, that symbol is then filled.
  3. F-16 fly-by-wire system is different to Hornet/Hog and takes some getting used to. I find the Hornet very sensitive after flying Viper for over a year now.
  4. So irl, you normally wouldn’t hot tea-arm the jet. I think wrt HARMs, the ALIC connection may need resetting to allow new HARMs to talk to the 1553 bus. not sure how much of this is modeled. Shutting the jet down cold SHOULD reset everything. Once you have powered up the new missiles, do an RS on the WPN page and see If that helps.

  6. Ok, so Datalink first. The range at which the donor aircraft is from the contacts will have a massive affect on its ability to send tracks. If the AWACs can’t see primary radar, it can’t generate link tracks. It may be a distance thing As for the radar not painting. Ensure your antenna elevation is correct for bogeys, use RWS in expand and see how many contacts you see there. TWS requires primary radar paints every 6.2seconds to create a system track.
  7. You shouldn't be getting any radar returns whilst on the gnd. With the INS aligned you'll get Datalink, but not radar returns. Don't understand how you've achieved AMRAAM tracking on the ground. Please post a trk and video
  8. There is some great free kneeboard creation software already available, that i use to import pdf's into certain jets.
  9. If this is a user campaign, then save the unzipped folder in: user/saved games/DCS Variant/missions/campaigns/EN
  10. I find a click of trim in then click it back out seems to work for straight and level flight

  12. Ah, that might be your issue. ALWAYS wait for flashing ALIGN in the HUD, not what INS page is showing. Whilst Nav accuracy 6 is Supposed to be good, you'll find the ALIGN won't flash at that point. Waiting that extra few seconds for flashing ALIGN, will make a difference.
  13. I would suggest it's something you have double bound in keys, or the antenna not set correctly. I flew a low level BVR sortie last week, with bandits at 1000' AGL and fighters at 20000'. We picked them up at >44nm on the Viper radar.

  15. Daft question, but 1 thing that will stop you connecting the Autopilot is the Air Refuelling door open. Can you confirm the RDY Blue light in the right side HUD indexer isn't showing (ensure brightness is turned up)?
  16. Did you CZ on the TGP to ensure that you are pointing the Pod at the SP you want?
  17. To get TMS right to cycle targets you need to: Be in TWS TMS right to make all Sytem Tracks into Target Tracks Then TMS Right will cycle through

  19. What do you mean? The TGP is centred up on aircraft nose, you have to select AREA Track and then slew as required.
  20. Because further down the road in EA, Viper will be getting the A-G radar. At that point switching "may" become an option. As of now, No you can't select A-A radar in A-G Master Mode

  22. Fired 4 120C’s last night and all tracked fine.
  23. I just run a test mission and scored 100 with 4xTents and 4xAmmo dumps destroyed Edit On looking at mission goals, FARP stuff was set to ALIVE <75 and they are DEAD when hit by bombs. I'll release an update now
