  3. Still put the DL switch on. Also, how are you aligning the INS? Stored or Norm? If Stored, do not enter to accept DED coords if Norm then the reverse of stored in both cases, wait for flashing ALIGN in the HUD before setting INS to Nav
  4. Might be it takes the Zulu time in the pit as Day/Night but it should be mission time
  5. You’ve misunderstood. I said if you find that you need to adjust the settings, it’s because DCS sayings it’s night. Not that the brightness determines it
  6. Didn’t say it was correct, I said it was how ED do it.
  7. If you jump in a jet and the NWS needs brightness adjustment to see, then DCS classes it as night.
  8. CCRP will compute for wind, so it’s not unknown to have the steering line offset. as for TD being offset, try to rocker away and back to the SP
  9. Released an update for 2.5.6 incorporating the above changes where able Once Incirlik ATC taxi call issue has been sorted out with 2.7, expect a new release with both 2.5.6 and 2.7 versions
  10. What do you mean “quote my reference”? I’m RAF aircrew and the only way auto pilot is used is by the tanker. And even they will practice without it on just in case of a failure. Tankers fly with the auto pilot coupled, to give the receiver a smoother flight path of the aircraft

  12. Ok, having had time to re-read your concern/bug, I have the following points 1. Viper has the ability to listen to 1 TACAN and 1 ILS only 2. The default TACAN (unless changed in the ME) is 1X. There are no map gnd stations on 1X 3. Likewise, the default ILS is18 something, so unless you’re near a single airfield with that ILS freq you won’t hear the Morse. 4. What I suspect is actually the case, is you are flying on a server on the Caucasus map and are in actual fact, hearing all the outer and inner marker beacons for the airfields. This is a DCS bug, in that ALL marker beacons will be heard. IRL. This is nothing to do with TACAN or ILS.
  13. And what about those of us that generally spawn cold on the ground? We’d now have to turn up the volumes to check and ident TACAN and ILS channels.

  16. Currently, 2.7 appears to have broken the AI ATC menu for this campaign. Once i figure out the root cause i will post a new version, with a 2.5.6 stable version also.

  19. Easiest way to not be annoyed by this, is to look 12” below the HUD at mechanical instruments until MDH, then take over visually/go around if not visual with the runway.

  21. Why wouldn’t a newer radar offer greater range? That conclusion makes no sense. Whilst the DCS Viper radar is over power I agree, the APG68 is newer than the 65 and therefore, has better capability hence why the Hornets APG83 offers far better capability

  23. You don’t have the brightness wheel bound to any joystick control do you? Worth a check
