This disskusin has been around before, and yes, it's clearly faster in the video, but you should also keep in mind that the mechanical resistance that can cause slowdown is absent or barely present. We see an absolutely clean setup without the components still attached to it, so I'd still say it's fine in DCS.

so I had asked him again and the DISS also warms up on the ground. as far as I have observed in my test, this is also largely the case, you only have to take off to complete the procedure. after I take off the lamp lights quite briefly (5-10seconds) and then the speed indicator appears and the DISS in thus 100% ready I think we can live with it
-
thanks for your feeback, which WW2 plane in DCS do you fly?
-
It would also always be worth mentioning whether BSGT is performed on a ground object or on other aircraft.
-
I have not claimed anything else. And the same goes for you - do you have proof of this? I think the speed is more than reasonable, the bomb has very little air resistance and is enormously heavy.
-
I must say I have the same feeling. High seems good Low a bit too much? As I said, I only have a feeling, but of course I don't have any proof. an idea. if you drop an MK-84 from 40,000ft at 1.0M. does the bomb accelerate to impact? or approximately how fast should it hit? in DCS it looks like this DCS MK84.acmi

the M1A2 had zones in the damage model that absorbed any damage, so it could be that.

thx but I'm doing a quick aligment. Wait 20 minutes Start smooth and the AC-Pos CAL.Data lamp lights up immediately. andas far as I know the DISS is ready when the speed is displayed in the HUD, but this only happens when I take off, no matter how long I wait.

moment I think it's about that the host radar of aircraft (F18-M2000) attract other missles?
-
can you make a track of the situation? some time ago there was a mention in the patch notes that this should no longer be the case, my tests also showed this at the time.
-
Is it intentional that the DISS does not warm up completely on the ground or come on? Only when I take off and the landing gear is no longer exerting pressure do I have to wait a moment for the DISS to come up completely, but until then the "AC-Pos Caldata" light is on.
-
Thank you I have already seen, but one question remains. You are supposed to wait until the diss has warmed up, but it seems to only happen completely when there is no more pressure on the landing gear, so I have to take off for this process, but as soon as I take off and no matter how slowly, the "error lamp" lights up immediately and I have to wait in hover or slow forward flight until the diss is ready.

In the Russian area there was a mention that there might be something sometime in the future Meaningfully and as I interpret it: That cold K50III are in a kind of standby and thus a normal or precise alignment is already prepared. @Akiazusa I will add the text here again later

Little (Or Possibly No) Drag from Open Canopy In-Flight
Hobel replied to Magic Zach's topic in Bugs and Problems
Did you see the video I posted, is it so unlikely that something similar happens with the p51? -
It's sad that this function didn't make it into the KA-50III. But thanks for the clarification

Little (Or Possibly No) Drag from Open Canopy In-Flight
Hobel replied to Magic Zach's topic in Bugs and Problems
this is not about whether the Bubble canopies of the P51 is worse than others, but whether the P51 slows down when the canopie is dropped and I would simply say yes without hard data. With and without a canopie x) : -
thank you for the quick reply. One more question on this topic. If I change the mode to "check" in the Abriss, the PVI-800 changes the lat and log to that waht stands in the abriss. this kind of interaction should not happen then either?
