  1. This looks like something right out of a Bond Film!
  2. +1 You should work for ED!
  3. JUICE-AWG

    F18 or F16

+1:joystick: The Hornet is much more diverse and further along in development. In six months, buy it's cousin, the Viper!
  4. Is your throttle in the Off Position when you start?
  5. I used to be able to replay tracks and see my aircraft in MP with the others on the server, but for months now, Track Files don't show the client/host aircraft for the person with the track file in possession. My buddy sent me his track file a few months back of the same mission, and on his track file, I show up but he doesn't....can we get this fixed? Single-Player saved track files show player just fine...it's MP tracking of the client's PC that is the problem.
  6. AMEN to that Brother!:pilotfly: 220, 229, Whatever it takes! Anyone got a line on a good PC for DCS that is Y3K Compliant?
  7. Yeah, but in the world of ORM, is that even realistic? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/93/ORM_Process%2C_link_between_Time_Critical_and_Deliberate.jpg/380px-ORM_Process%2C_link_between_Time_Critical_and_Deliberate.jpg Also look up what ADM means...cheers!
  8. The MFG Crosswind Pedals are great, I've been flying with mine for 1.5 years and previously I had the Saitek X52 with a twist stick (SUCKED). On a Stand, I used to use my SIM PC for work and other Office Activities, so I got used to the Side Stick configuration and love it too. Makes sense if you need access to your PC for other than DCS. Remember, this is going to evolve, so consider getting what you can get by with now and upgrading here and there. Is your desk adaptable, can you make tray mounts to bolt onto the top that drop-down for Throttle/Stick placement? Here's my setup. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1950921789

    Easy refueling

The Viper is way easier than when I flew FC3's F-15C and like the others said, with the Refueling door open, the FCS is tame and easy as heck... You may want to look at your Curves and Deadzones and make sure you're not "White Knuckling" the stick and should notice improvement with practice. Anything easier would be like placing your aircraft with unlimited fuel or adding 3 bags which is not my style, I like my Vipers with 2 bags only.:joystick: Watch RedKite's video on the Viper AAR.
  10. Maybe the DCS version of the ASW Hawk could have them dip the probe into the water and they catch a giant fish! :joystick:
  11. Perhaps a package selling point on the Blackhawk is to do a "Sikorsky H-60 Helicopter" module with variation in the models to included the following aircraft: UH-60 (US Army Blackhawk including other operator's skins) SH-60 (US Navy Seahawk with all skins, i.e., Cargo/Anti Submarine) HH-60 (US Air Force Pavehawk with AAR via KC-130 capability) MH-60 (S-Model Knighthawk for Blackops) MH-60T (US Coast Guard Jayhawk with Rescue Skins) VH-60N (US Marine One Presidential Transport) Mitsubishi H-60 (Japan's Licensed Copy of the helicopter) Simple skins and two Advanced Models for AAR capable and one for plain I'm guessing...and the ship-board variants to have the tail-boom gear replaced by the aft fuselage dual wheels. If we ever see true Multi-Crew aircraft with DCS perfected, we could have a crew of 4 and passenger capabilities and do combat rescue, hell yeah!
  12. I put a video out on this, hope it helps others. Cheers, JUICE
  13. Hey, I found him...look here!
  14. Andrew...are you running a CPU cooler? Make sure you're monitoring temps...as with aircraft aspirated engines, PCs actually build more heat without cowlings to direct cold air in and hot air out. Shoot for a positive pressure system and closed loop CPU cooler like the Corsair H100 or H110. I have two rigs with the H80V2 and love them. I use CoreTemp to keep track of warm situations! Let us know how you end up.
  15. Have you verified your Clock Speed when under load in DCS, I thought the 4790K was supposed to be at 4.4 under load with standard boost speed enabled in the UEFI Bios settings.
  16. Over on the lower right by the clock, click the little up arrow and you should have an icon for GeForce Experience and if you do, you can right click on that and open the control panel. If you don't see that, install Nvidia GeForce Experience from their website. Good luck! Also, check out a few YouTube videos where you can see how to disable Win 10 Spyware and Extraneous programs.
  17. I love the X52, "or loved it" before I merged with the TM Warthog...My first one was used, had it an additional 7 years before I started getting uncommanded roll input...bought a new one for $120 on sale at Newegg and discovered that there was nothing wrong with the old one...as it was my iPhone was too close to the joystick cables on my desk and moving it away from the cables fixed the roll. I gave away the first one to a guy just getting into DCS, and the second (newer one) was used for 2 years before getting a great deal on a Warthog and MFG Crosswind Pedals. Check your local Craigslist if you're in the states and look for a good deal on used. The X52 is okay with mulit-engine aircraft but good with single engine planes. Buttons and sliders are adequate for starting out, but as you dig into DCS more seriously, you'll want to get dual throttles and pedals for sure, eventually. Good luck,
  18. Also, make sure you are checking your aircraft weight...after resetting your T/O Trim, drop flaps to half (takeoff settings) and trim for ACFT WT...too far back trim and you can induce stall and restrict speed on T/O. Weight Nose Up Trim 44,000 LBS and Below 16 Degrees 44,001 -- 48,000 LBS 17 Degrees 49,000 LBS and Above 19 Degrees The only time you takeoff with standard 12 Degrees is shore-based runway.
  19. Sounds awesome! Thanks...:pilotfly:

    I'm wrong or

You could try finding a impromptu FARP location using existing hard pad and just place the support vehicles needed. Don't for get the TFFT Firetruck in case you have a fire during refueling ops.
  21. Exactly Mav...heck, the Carrier Module only $25 if you own a salt-water aircraft...and CA is so cheap these days with sales, literally $20USD right now.....you tell him bud!
  22. Maybe Razbam could consider a combo module "The DCS Eagle" Both a C and E variants and add to the price...say a $99 Module? AMEN! @Kdrum60, were you at Kadena in 83-84?
  23. Amen to that Brother! My hope is that the Military interest sparks advancement and innovation needed to make main-stream VR a 100% capable reality! The capability of the SIM and PC/GPU Processing surely out performs current VR capabilities...will have to press VR MFGrs to innovate and adapt to current capabilities.
  24. This sounds great, but does the LUA file get overwritten with each subsequent update? I am trying to get the Cockpit FOV to match what looks about right and undistorted in the F2 over the shoulder view. I think I figured it out...the NumPad Enter was crucial and I am testing various settings for my four main aircraft: Viper 71.0, Hornet 70.0, Huey 95.0, and P-51D/TF-51D Mustang at 70.0. Probably will tweak them over the next couple of weeks!
  25. I was DCS Steam until 2.0 Open-beta and Nevada Map came out...switched to SA Open-beta and and never looked back! Cheers, If you guys have Discord, get real-time information on STEAM support of the Carrier Module here... https://discord.gg/Jwqqs7
