I believe the FUEL XFER FAIL is related to barometric pressure. I always change the pressure in my missions and I have this failure sometimes.

Why does RAZBAM ignore the sound quality of their modules?
Ignition replied to 112th_Rossi's topic in RAZBAM
If you like the immersion, the F-15E is one of the best in cockpit sounds. Very realistic, not like Heatblur which goes the other way around with overexaggerated sounds. -
You can delete these files and the game will be playable. For multiplayer is easy, 1 livery default for all the liveries you don't have.
-
It is inevitable when there's bad development. Why waste 50-100GB of space when you don't need them. These files aren't part of the core game.

Hi, some places have very noticeable polygon textures. https://i.imgur.com/Pm1yqLc.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/bbKH3GO.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/jGSLAbH.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/KyAnU8h.jpeg These places are in the northern part of the map, around Minakh. I don't know if there's more.

In the F-16C I can clearly see statics and vehicles at 60nm, when getting closer all the scenery pop up making it harder to find any targets.

IRL pretty much any mission needs to do at least 1 AAR, so yes it would make DCS missions more realistic for all the people who can't do AAR right now. AAR is one of the most difficult things to do in an aircraft, even more in a simulator and not everyone has the time to train for that or are not skilled enough or don't have the right equipment. It took me several days of training exclusively AAR in the F-18C, every single day until I could do it regularly and then much more time for perfection. When I transitioned to the F-16C it took me less time but it was REALLY different and then the same when transitioned to the F-15E. The time and effort to train this is big. It's very hard and I see why people want a "helper". The radios are MUCH more simple to manage than AAR and the easy radios can be disabled, I don't see why this couldn't have an option also.
-
Kind off-topic but I still remember YEARS ago when ED said they were making new drogue physics, LOL An option for easy AAR would be a very nice addition, I wouldn't use it but I see a moderate portion of the players would. Also it would make the missions realistic.
-
I kept it. Also I'm not buying anything else until the F-15E resumes its development and I can trust ED again.

DCS needs GPS/Radio Jammers

How long is the INU alignment supposed to take?
Ignition replied to CrazyGman's topic in DCS: AH-64D
The INS is still not fully simulated? -
user resolved Variometer inaccurate in forward flight
Ignition replied to ShuRugal's topic in Bugs and Problems
I had variometer issues when the aircraft couldn't align properly with GPS, for example when being in the red team and didn't have the SATNAV option enabled in the mission editor. But that is expected as far as I know. -
The liveries for the F-14 (specially the A) and many other aircrafts are a waste of space in my case. ED and Heatblur are very bad in space optimization. I lose at least 30GB in aircrafts I never use.

Very low texture resolution map and low poly mesh, looks terrible. The google maps textures are not well suited for a game like this.

Yes we need to be able to set the precipitation chance and humidity for all weather presets.

Is there a Time-on-Target mode for the Apache?
Ignition replied to durka-durka's topic in DCS: AH-64D
I was also looking for this but since I didn't find anything I've made my own spreadsheet for TOT, its not hard to do. Remember 1NM at 1Knot = 1Hr, Distance/Speed = Time. Calculate delta Time (in minutes) from destination time - actual time, then (distance (NM) / delta Time) * 60 = knots you need to fly Since I know the rough estimate of FuelFlow, I also calculate the consumption and remaining fuel. -
I come from the future and I tell you that the 3rd of July patch was delayed indefinitely. We're still waiting anxiously.
-
The DCS AH-64D is really easy to fly, I only experienced some issue with yaw while hovering, or more importantly when I engage the autopilots while doing a very stable hover, the helicopter goes crazy sometimes so I'm not using the AP very much. Apart from these issues the helicopter is very predictable.

A bit late. If the flag was set to true and you had a trigger "once" with conditions "flag is true" and "random" it will check each second for that random to be true since the flag already is true and it will execute the action without fail.

Some questions and perhaps frustrations with this module
Ignition replied to Typhonus2's topic in DCS: AH-64D
I never experienced this. The helicopter is very stable, unless you land on the grass and then it could go very wrong on take off. I never used trim reset, it all depends on how you landed and how many times you trim the aircraft -
This thread was made before the audio reduction. Razbam made the cockpit sounds to hear them like in helmet. It's different from Heatblur which makes the sounds intended without that option. Also you can put the AC in manual and put it on low.

Many desync issues are present since 2 years.

great! Thanks

I wouldn't expect any update at this point. ED is completely silent. Maybe when Afghanistan, CH-47 and F-4E releases they will say something.
