My goodness... 19 FPS aside, this is AMAZING!

Are you kidding me? You're absolutely wrong. I only own PG, NTTR, Syria, Hornet, Viper, and the P-51D modules (there a LOT more, you know) and that maxed me out my 250 GB Samsung 850 PRO SSD.

Early models of the 4th gen jets we already have.

And I yours. We'll agree to disagree. -

Want Desert Storm era? Leave Datalink off and only carry Sparrows and Dumb Munitions. I have ZERO interest in ED spending precious time and resources on nuanced old-models. I think many (Most?) of us are ready to move on to completion of what we already have and continued focus on what will make this a great(er) game/sim: i.e. Weather, ATC, and the Dynamic Campaign. People bring up Heatblur all the time with their B and A model Tomcats... forgetting that they had ONE job: and they did a BRILLIANT one at that! ED has so much more on their plate than wasted ((in my opinion) time on 90s vs 2000s models of the aircraft we already have. -
PLEASE, ED.... give us a real option to turn off the FLOLS! It is ROYALLY hated by many. Merry Christmas and Thank you.

Indeed. This was quite a positive patch from my perspective...not perfect, but ambitious and comprehensive in several key areas for me.

From this full 4K user: THANK YOU!

You're silly... listen to the podcast.

His episodes on the F-15 and the Viper are really good, too!

Since yesterday's update, the white mouse cursor will not go away in the cockpit... even when I've not brought up the radio menus or engaged the clickable cockpit yellow-plus cursor.

Before yesterday's update, we were getting the beautiful Heatblur F-14A model when we flew against an Iranian F-14A. Now, it's back to the 2003 Lomac F-14A model.

As a 4K player, I'm VERY thankful for spotting improvements to be sure... but testing out the new patch last night, I could see a single F-14 as a black dot over 34 miles away... so my guess is that it isn't here to stay in the form that we just got it in. I'm surprised no one has mentioned this?

Was Viper FM mentioned in the change log?

Pretty cool to see Caucasus and Nevada maps getting some love! What an update.

Probably worth saying again... but new clouds are not coming to DCS. A new weather system is coming (which of course will produce clouds, fog, and other atmospheric effects). I think it's worth saying this because there is a MUCH bigger job for them to complete than just 'new clouds.' They're going big on this one....typical DCS.

planes that you would like to see in DCS?
wilbur81 replied to Erich Alfred Hartmann's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Nah, too nuanced for me. I'd go for the most modern F-15C that ED could possibly do. I could always keep the datalink off, leave the JHMCS at home, and only take 9Ms and 7Ms and mostly have my "90s F-15C." -
[MISSING TRACK FILE] Uncommanded Yaw Oscillation
wilbur81 replied to Callsign Munch's topic in Bugs and Problems
Has happened to me plenty of times since day one of the Hornet.... but I would say that it has gotten better in the past year or so. But maybe I'm just better at flying it? -
...That's my point.

Disable RWR notification for AMRAAM radar.

Got it. I just mean that, whoever said it, that statement is just not accurate. -
Heatblur had one job... and they did a brilliant one. I'm very much not interested in an already super-busy ED team with 1001 other jobs throwing resources at earlier lots/blocks of Hornets & Vipers.

Nonsense. -
I'm most interested in what you paid for that 3080?

For what it's worth: The basket/hose physics on the S-3 are really pretty bad. Don't learn on the S-3... learn on the C-130 and KC-135's hose/baskets, they're much easier.
