  3. Not expecting anything out of this, just stating the fact that INS, ILS (and also air-to-air refueling) was available in 1974. We'd probably have an F-5E-1, F-5E-3, F-5F already done and an F-5M in the works...
  4. Is as clear as it gets. True that the Guns Camera and Missiles switch does not need to be on, that would be a different request (as in "demonstrate the switch must be armed for the tone to be heard") Back to the audio tone: "The audio tone is... shut off by the corresponding ..." end of argument, no further required. Or, draw a wiring diagram that will produce the desired results: Lef ON, Right ON - Left heard Left ON, Right OFF - Left heard Left OFF, Right ON - Right heard Left OFF, Right OFF - ? if the answer is nothing heard, simple enough. If you want the answer to be Left heard, how does this work? Again, "The audio tone is... shut off by the corresponding ..."
  5. Without intention to further digress from the topic (I have no opinion on the Jettison Select), there was a post made here in this forum sharing all sort of F5 books just before the module was released. Thinking it was in 2016 or so. Not sure if the post or its links are still up.

  7. Try this and see how it goes: Clean aircraft, full fuel. Climb to 36000ft. I used M0.94 for the climb. Accelerate to M1.35-1.4 (your perceived speed jump window) at 36000ft. Pitch up to hold that Mach and climb to 44000-45000. Then shallow dive back to 36000. I used a pitch of -5° I think. Should get you down to 36000-35000 at M1.6+. Level accel to M2.0, climb at M2.0 to desired altitude. Seems credible enough to me.
  8. Are you using a Standard material? I had problems when using Arnold. Scanline works. Also using an older plugin, from April I think.

  18. I think clicking or double-clicking the mouse scroll wheel will hide/show the mouse pointer.

Ifthe inverted spiral is allowed to progress, an inverted PSG/spin results. And no, I could not re-create the flight departure described in the video.
  20. Curious which manual you are referring to? The -1 , Section VI, Inverted Flight Characteristics describes the Inverted Pitch Hangup in the first paragraph. It also elaborates that " If recovery from the IPH is not accomplished, divergent roll oscillations or an inverted spiral may develop. " 15000ft is minimum ejection alt for a dual F-5F. Solo F or E shows 10000. As for being able to get an IPH in-game, I have tried a long time ago without success.
