  4. You’re not flying any Aim Off Distance (AOD) so yeah, bombs will fall short. You don’t put your VV on the target.

Four Simple Steps To Effective Radio Use: 1) Who You’re Calling (Vaziani Tower, Nellis Ground, etc.) 2) Who You Are (Falcon 1 .. 1 F-16C, Hawg 3, two A-10s, etc.) 3) Where You Are (Hardstand Parking, 10 miles south, SE EOR, etc.) 4) What You Want To Do / What You're Doing (Taxiing to Runway 3L, Inbound to land, Downwind Runway 13, etc.) “Mic Fright” can be overcome by saying what you want to say to yourself and then key the mic and say what you just said. Nobody expects you to be perfect, but if you check off some version of the necessary info as laid out above, you’ll be way ahead of the bulk of online flyers.

  7. Be sure you don’t have your AAR Door open. That will noticeably damp the controls in the same fashion as having the gear down.

  13. Maybe you have an Auto Lase time set that’s too long for your intended release altitude? 4K AGL is very low and 8K is still kinda low.
  14. If you fly straight and level for too long, GBU-38s and -31s will “go to sleep” so you need to maneuver a little to wake them back up.
  15. I’d avoid setting the laser to “LATCH” so it doesn’t inadvertently get left on for too long.
  16. Nice look at more of the map. Maybe BluFor ops from Incirlik next?
  17. A-10 needs pitch trim adjustments with power changes. Only two things I can think of that would cause significant roll deviations: 1) Asymmetric Loads 2) Rudder displacement through either trim or double binding It’s a very “hands on” aircraft .. There is no Flight Computer.
  18. If you can get illuminated signs to illuminate the ground on the illuminated side, you’re a rock star.

  23. Don’t need a cheat really (and you don’t want anything that takes your eyes off where you should be looking) but it wouldn’t hurt to raise the luminance of the lights at least a little bit. “Hard to see” =/= “Impossible to see” Right now, it’s damn near impossible.
