  1. Nell'ultima open beta.
  2. I usually do not buy EA, but they live with newer EA modules. I'd be happier to buy an EA even if they decide to axe some features along the way but explain the reason to the community, rather than discover things by myself with no explanation at all (or with a lie / wrong explanation just to say something).
  3. They reworked all the a-10c (for creating a-10c II) but this bug has never been corrected? Is it so difficult to fix? At least they could say something, i.e. we cannot fix it because - I don't know - it messes up the f/a-18? Just to know and get over it... If instead it's easy (a true/false to change in a file, for example), I know you can get frequencies from the f10 map or kneeboard, and all the developers are doing something else, but I think they should put a dedicated developer to fix all the easiest bugs (maybe this is not easy, but for sure there are many others that are). P.S. I want to do the things well and I attach an image. Not a difficult task indeed: it's not from my PC, it's taken from the internet, found with a google search!
  4. I agree about not closing the topics: people interested in the yak-52 (like me) deserve to know the state of completion, and a topic that prods ED about its shortcomings and delays is what is needed, just to know when it will be the right time to buy (obviously not yet).
  5. Jester too is less capable than a human, there's a limit to what an AI can do today, skynet hasn't took control yet.
  6. I think they should at least say something like this: "we will not work on this issue because the rwr issues will be worked on when we'll deal with the f-16 radar, it's unconvenient to do the work twice so we will not on the f-5 at the moment and you have to wait". I do not know, it's just an example, but give an explanation to the community would be a matter of transparency. Maybe not everyone would be fine with the decision, but that would be something. And if the decision changes, give updates! Something must have changed since the "couple of options" of the 2018!
  7. Preordered via website on last december. Do you have an estimate for shipping? Thanks.
  8. Tested in Caucasus Map. When you go to divert Page and select an airport, the indicated ATC frequency Is wrong: something like ******/strange number, instead of for example 135.250/*** as It should be. No track needed: open navigation -> divert on the CDU and check by yourself. Both on a-10c and a-10c ii
Grazie.
  10. My PC is a rig I assembled myself. My i7 6700k runs windows 10 with no issues but if i type tpm.msc my PC says I don't have a TPM and I have to check BIOS to see if maybe it's disabled. I've carefully checked but I haven't found any TPM or PTT setting; it appears that 6th gen i7 6700k does not have that functionality. If someone still has my CPU (I bought my PC in september 2016) and can see if I'm missing something I'll be grateful, but windows 11 support is certified for intel from 8th gen and above, so I fear I'm out until I do a new rig (impossible with current GPU prices).
  11. My i7 6700k has no TPM 2.0 or 1.2 either, and my maximus viii hero alpha has no slot for a TPM module, so for me no windows 11. My PC is planned for an upgrade, but I have to find a new VGA first. No VGA at decent prices today, so no upgrade, and again no windows 11. Nevertheless, my quite old PC and my rtx 2070 are still capable enough of running DCS (and MSFS) in VR with a Rift s on windows 10, thus I can wait. I have to. I do not want to buy a new GPU for double its price or more. If I do I become part of the problem, and I suggest anyone else is searching for a new GPU not to upgrade until all this madness is over.
  12. "The time a product remains in Early Access can vary widely based on the scope of the project, technical hurdles, and how complete the module is when it enters Early Access. Eagle Dynamics and all of our third parties strive to make this period as short as possible." I must note that the statement in bold does not apply to the yak-52: It's not a technical hurdle, that's for sure. The module was not too much completed when released in EA, but come on, 3 years for a prop trainer? The p-47 has been quicker, and it releases bombs - the yak doesn't. Then its scope is the only one left: to take the easy money and run away with the loot?
  14. We are getting closer to the summer (in the northern hemisphere at least) and it's getting hot wearing a VR headset, I can wait the end of the year when it's more confortable to fly in dcs.
  15. I'd prefer if they take a couple of developers and dedicate them to fix the evergrowing list of bigger and smaller bugs and incomplete features affecting the older modules that today are almost abandoned since all the work is to ride the hype for the new stuff, mi-24 included.
  16. I've spent a lot of money in this simulator, since here you can find among the best and nicely done aircrafts one can fly on a home PC. But the state of some older "minor" modules in unacceptable. In the last one year and a half I've bought almost nothing: a-10c II and the mi-8. And I intend to keep my modules without buying anything else until I see the long standing bugs (up to 4 years for some of them!) being fixed. I do not ask for a better 3d model or a texture overhaul, but the broken systems have to be fixed. You can keep your f-18, f-16, mi-24 and apache. The kind of stuff described in this topic (and a lot of similar ones) is the work you should do first, and with top priority.
  17. They had to release the Hind, so the bug has passed in stable and now we have to deal with it for a few months. Some time ago it happened the same with the l-39 instruments with no textures, aircraft unplayable. Passed in stable and we had to rely on a community fix. There's no hot fix for such things, when the stable is out, it remains there until the next stable upgrade. What is the mean of a stable release, if bugs like these pass through? We are forced to use the open beta, at least bugs gets solved more quickly. I know the open beta is there only to intercept CTDs and general blocking bugs and noone cares about single modules bugs, but... Don't you think something has to change in this regard? In the meanwhile, I go to uninstall my stable version, this being the case it is there only to occupy SSD space.
  19. I believe it's the Intruder, F-4 being from ED. It's true we lack a coherent environment, but that's because DCS at the moment is a sandbox, whose main aim is accurately simulate an airplane model, whatever it is. It is not a battlefield simulator, it's an airplane's one. Il-2 great battles, for example, is a battlefield simulator, but it is severely lacking in airplane simulation (no clickable cockpits, no accurate systems, very subtle differencies from a flight model to the other, and so on). But in there you have the right airplane models in the right map with the right assets in the right historical time. I think you can't have all in a single simulator. I hope one day DCS gets there, but it will take time. A lot of time.
  20. The Yak-52 is a porting of a training simulator they were working on. Maybe there was no damage model in that simulator, since a training software does not need to have one. DCS does. But maybe they went out of resources, or the module sold little, and so they did not add what was missing to have a complete DCS module. Will it be finished sooner or later? At the moment they don't seem to particularly want it; what about the more distant future? Considering their mantras: "everything is subjected to change", "nothing is written in stone", "it is done when it is done" and such, who knows? Maybe we'll have a payware Yak-52 II
  21. In any case, I would not be very happy to put marmots under the wheels...
  23. Modern (whatever it means) airframes with whimsical stuff sell more. Why the Viper and then the Apache, if not? But sooner or later modern stuff will end and they'll have to choose something else. Cold war would be fine.
