dcs.log Log attached. What's the problem?

DCS Tacan has bugs. Sometime you lost the signal without a reason. Turn It Off then on and the signal Is back again. Long standing bug, I must deduce never corrected (as always).

Solved with a deadzone of 5. Maybe is my warthog getting older? I'll try the same deadzone in pitch too, let's see if it's also easy to trim in pitch.

Exactly. But then "smaller" but very annoying bugs related to single modules pass on stable and stay there for a lot of time once passed, and neither you can hope for a hotfix. L-39 instruments texture missing, and f-86 not clickable buttons are just two examples. Maybe you can play f-86 (very difficult if you fly VR and do not use a keyboard); with the l-39 missing textures we had to rely on a community fix, otherwise unplayable module. Changing a text file was all the work needed, but It passed on stable anyway, and luckily a common user found a fix, otherwise you could not fly the l-39. This Is not acceptable, they HAVE to do something also for "smaller" but very annoying module related bugs. Otherwise IMHO it's better to risk a major bug fixed after a week in OB, rather than hundreds of "smaller" bugs staying for months on stable.

The stable release Is totally unuseful: when they are ready for something new, they pass the OB to stable. Now Marianas have to pass on stable since they are ready for the next new thing (the mosquito maybe?). They look at whole simulator blocking bugs, but noone cares about single modules bugs, this Is even stated in the explanation of what OB Is All about. I have uninstalled the stable branch and fly only OB. If there's a whole blocking bug I move to fly in msfs and wait for the next OB update. I can't use hundreds of GBs of my SSD to keep two versions both filled with bugs, the only difference being the so called stable have bugs that do not get fixed for a longer period of time.

The radios are on when the button is pulled, while they are off when it's pushed. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Pushed = in = radio on; pulled = out = radio off? Or is it correct as it is?

I've checked, no double axis binding. Maybe it's all ok and it's just my wrong impression. I can't do logs. If someone explains me how to, I'll put mine here to check if there's something wrong. If it's not a bug (and it's not), it's one of the two: something wrong in my settings or everything is fine and it's just me. Thanks

Comunque, giusto per concludere la vicenda: ho acquistato la Siria coi saldi e l'icona è comparsa; ma se la Siria non l'avete l'icona grigia non esiste, non è stata implementata.

I haven't flown the F-5 in a while; today I've taken it for a test flight over Syria map, just bought with current sales. I noticed some weird rolling behavior, which I didn't remember the f-5 was doing. In practice it is impossible to keep it horizontal, it always tends to slightly roll right or left, and you must costantly adjust with the aileron trim. The f-5 has always been tricky to trim in pitch, but this behaviour in roll looks new as far as I remember. Before someone asks: pitch and roll dampeners were on. My Warthog curve has always been the same: no dead zone, no curves. There's no other axis wrongly assigned to the roll except the warthog stick. The a-10c behaves normally, so my HOTAS is not faulty. Moreover, if I keep "remove aileron limiter" pressed, I do not notice any clear difference in roll, while I remember that the change was quite evident. Is it just my faded memory or something is wrong with the f-5 roll axis?

Io non è che mi diverta a fare polemica a tutti i costi, però come si fa a considerare "out of early access" un modulo che non ha ancora un manuale e dell'unica preview che ti fanno vedere si premuniscono di dire che "may contain errors and is subject to change"? Allora come si fa a sapere una volta per tutte quando sarà finito questo benedetto av-8b? Ovvio che già ci stanno lavorando su Mig-23 ed F-15E, ma a mio avviso se le cose restano così il giorno che si azzardano a presentare un preorder ci scatta un'altra shit storm che a confronto le fogne di Calcutta sono un bagno termale

I want to presume they are not fixing because ground ATC Is going to be updated (sooner or later) with advanced ATC like in the supercarrier. Maybe we have to wait that those developers start working on airfields ATC. Anyway, a statement would be appreciated and would be Better than any educated guess

Is there a community fix for this? I am thinking about buying the Sabre with summer sale, but I fly only VR and I extensively use mouse clicks, I won't buy a bugged module until there's a fix. Thanks.

But they did it, and now we expect it to come to an end, I think it's a reasonable request.

La mia postazione in effetti è davanti ad una finestra, ma da quanto ho capito basta chiudere la tapparella (e accendere la luce elettrica, perchè se no al buio il Rift s non traccia) 3. A me dovrebbe arrivare la nuova versione con FCU più piccoli e comunque per il momento non ho nè l'f-18 nè il suo grip dedicato; in futuro si vedrà

Io ho ordinato pointCTRL e aspetto quello; il tracciamento delle mani sembra una cosa buona ma poi muovendole alla cieca nello spazio 3d si rischia di sbattere contro le suppellettili; il pointCTRL invece dovrebbe funzionare come un mouse: basta tenere le mani davanti alla faccia, non c'è bisogno di cercare la profondità. Così a occhio mi sembra meglio. Poi quando finalmente mi arriverà lo capirò...

I would never trade being inside the cockpit for resolution. VR is flying, monitor is watching an airplane movie. VR all the way. And I have a Rift s, not the sharper among VR headsets.

There are 3 options in the simulator: HMCS in the left eye only, in the right eye only or in both eyes. Since I play VR and I'd like to be closest as possible to the real airplane, how Is the HMCS in real life? Now I have it on the right eye only, as It Is by default. Is this how the real HMCS Is made? Thanks.

No, non l'ho ancora presa, né in prova né a pagamento. Se vado nello store è lì e la posso acquistare, ma nella schermata di avvio di DCS, dove in basso ci sono tutte le icone dei vari moduli disponibili, a colori quelli posseduti ed in bianco e nero quelli acquistabili, l'icona della Siria è scomparsa. Vorrei capire se è così solo da me, quindi c'è un qualche problema, o è così da tutti, quindi è un bug.
