Yeah, but without zoom and I'm not sure about the color tint.

What do you mean?

DC is all about AI doing their missions generated by simulated "command". It is mostly about moving the frontline by using the available resources - attack, defense, recon, support, hence the cargo/warehouse system has to work - to win the war. The player(s) can be part of this. I don't know where people get the idea that DC will overhaul the AI, comms or whatever. It's a wishlist thread though and I support of course any move on that front

Yes, please @Hiob will like it implemented too.
-
Yes, could be fixed as they are contrast white IRL:
-
I hope GCI sets the target as IRL.

Then you need natural head movement, otherwise you'll feel just like artificial cam.

Lctrl+F11 and Shift+WSAD

I support the wish. The units settings for the aircraft should not have landed into the global options. It should stay in special options for specific aircraft. I get the wish for english cockpit (although still unrealistic) but changing units to imperial, while it was only done in G version, is imho over the board.

Can you roll back to Caucasus before the update? Unplayable in VR...
draconus replied to dmatt76's topic in DCS: Caucasus
You can't just roll back a single map or module. You can move to previous DCS version, leaving out any modules and changes that came later. -
Missing USSR airbases in the upcoming Afghanistan map
draconus replied to Ronin_Gaijin's topic in Wish List
I don't understand a word but here's some good info for you: -
I don't think so. You can use mission planner before the start. Most realistic is of course the briefing info which should tell/show your starting position and how to move on.

The map has been updated so obviously there can be some performance difference. Either adjust your settings and move on or be specific if you think there's some problem. Save a short track with Su-25T where you find the most performance hit and upload here. Edit: DCS updates are optional, so yes, you can roll back for SP. -
Please, don't go that way. Developing for "what most players want" always end up with arcade shooter because that sells best and yes, unfortunately, simulators were never worth the cost, the deeper they go the less worth. My vote for full first person walkaround and climb in, with possible things to notice like a pin left out, missing part, minor damage, disconnected pipe/cable, a leak... Then you decide to either switch the aircraft or... it's a war and we have to do it or the mission fails

F-15C trim no longer working
draconus replied to av8orDave's topic in Flaming Cliffs Bugs & Problems
Works fine for me. Remove mods, perform DCS repair and clean. -
It can bank either way. They are not perfectly made nor perfectly balanced in weight.
-
He's saying that the lamp and sensor work for some range that's considered neutral. It is not a precise point that'll give you hands-free flight and it's also not the trimmer's job. Use AP instead. This comes up for every module and it's just misunderstanding of the trimmer function. Hence the trim sensitivity workarounds because people apparently want their aircraft to fly on rails

MiG-29A Fulcrum Launch | DCS Update Summary
draconus replied to Graphics's topic in Official Newsletters
The first 4th gen, because we already have full-fidelity MiGs: 21, 19 and 15. -
I haven't gotten to know all the ones that are working yet But, yes, it's better to have it switchable even if not functional. Anyone know the position of drop parachute button?
-
As already explained this works only IRL. Not in VR. You can refocus but your eyes will not blur anything out because the actual focal lenght stays fixed. The monocle for monitors is already blurred.

Quest 3 but it should not be connected to this slider. We want realistic relections on canopy but don't want unrealistic relflections in the visor
