Version 1.x had the smoke and flame it has been broken since 2.x. This is an old bird and seems like it's not worth their time to fix. Only took 2 years to fix the non working drop tanks and even then they did not list that they were now working.

Anyone switched from Rift S to Quest purely for IPD purposes?

Before you do anything else try this. Set your ipd in Oculus software. In DCS make sure you UNCHECK force IPD adjustment I noticed the 2 settings seem to not work well with each other. -

If that 109 had taken the Mustang into a vertical fight, as it should have, it would have had a Mustang for lunch. Without the extra HP that the fuel would provide along with it having a self exploding engine if you dare to use WEP it is fresh meat on the table in the vertical. The better fuel does not make it an uber plane just more evenly matched for the time period. Both of these shortcomings will kill the use of this plane when the 262 is released into the WW2 inventory.

Just give us the proper fuel that we should have being late 44-45 and we could send some of these vAces running home crying to MaMa. But we all know this is not going to happen. Seems all games say one like to castrate the Pony.

It happens even if you don't have a mod. This started 2-3 updates ago in the P51.

This statement says it all: Everything we have shows the current settings as accurate to the type of gun though. So no matter how many documents you supply showing the inaccuracy of the information they are using they are NOT going to look at it or change it. So stop trying to confuse them with facts. A stubborn mindset will never be swayed with facts sorry….

I am also getting that strange sound inside the cockpit. It is very annoying. -

If you are running MSI Afterburner while in DCS go in and turn off ALL the monitoring except for the GPU temperature. You should see a 50-100% frame increase in VR. This will be for looking anywhere around the map except for looking toward any airport. For some unknown reason the airports eat up framerates. This worked for me your results may vary. -
Some servers not showing in the list but are up. When I ping the server it is there but when I try to connect via ip the message come back server is not online. The ip address for the server is 74.91.118.197:10308 that is the Digital Theme Park server. The same thing happens for the Aerobatics Online Beta server

Turtle Beach Atlas Elite Headset

The track clip will not latch on this headset. I solved this problem with holding it in place using a small cable tie by the latch works fine. -
Found the problem. To hear hit sounds you must have "Hear like in Helmet" checked. If not you will not hear any hit sounds or damage sounds. It would have been nice if ED had told you that's what it does.

Apparently damage sounds are either not there or broken on my machine. I don’t know which. Being hit by enemy fire produces No Sound inside the plane. I may be wrong but would think it should sound like hail hitting on metal. But in here Nothing you have to look outside to see holes in the wings. Hitting an object and loosing part of the wing produces NO Sound. It would seem that tearing off part of the wing should produce an alarming sound inside the aircraft. Is this normal for everyone?

I don't know if this will help you but on the server we are on the mission had to be opened in the mission editor and then saved for everything to work properly. -

[FIXED]IA not firing in MP -norender servers

The server was updated today before I went on. Took the .trk file from today and changed it to a .miz file and flew it offline and it works as it should. Both the Ai planes engage and the convoys started shooting when I got in range. None of this happened while trying to play online. Online the Ai planes did nothing until you hit them and then it was with a delay and the convoys did nothing but scatter. -

This appears to be half fixed. Ai aircraft will not engage until they are hit. If you attack head on or from the side they just fly along in a straight line until they are hit. Ground convoys will scatter but do not fire at all. This is not how they were before it was broken. This is on the Digital Theme Park server -

What is broken is a pixel is NOT a standard size in the computer world. Resolution: This is refers to the size of the pixel. The smaller the pixel, the higher the resolution. What you may see at your monitor setting a pixel may look like the head of a pin. On a 4k monitor it will look like the point of the same pin. That is the simple way to describe what the problem is.

When using the smoke pods on a server with clouds at 2k will cause the clouds to start flashing. It looks like the darker section of the clouds are the part that is flashing.
