  1. 1. Are you on the ground or flying when you try? (It doesn't work midmair, you will need Comm 1 or comm 2 buttons of the plane's radio) 2. Is it only with the F-16C? 3. Is "easy comms" in the ME on or off?
  2. thanks a lot. yeah, that thread is not for the current version of Virpil software, but it finally showed me the way to getting things sorted. Biggest issue was not having a "result button" anymore. But Virpil decided to simply create "physical" buttons when needed by "axis-to-buttons" (or whatever they call them). I'm ok with that, now!
  3. EDIT: disregard plz. I've found out that my version of software does not need the "result button" anymore. The resulting buttons are created without it. original post: hi, I'm new to Virpil stuff. I'd like to have this axis to button thingy for my new CM3 throttle, but my Virpil software doesn't seem to have the "result button" area in the "axis to button (customizable areas)" block. What I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mine looks like (VPC_Software_Setup_v20230328):
  4. I don't want to derail this thread, but could you please lead me to an explanation of how to do exactly this with my new VPC throttle? Does it keep the "usual" throttle behaviour once you get over the idle detent (coming from cut off)? edit: disregard. I've found this thread here:
  5. and it explains the saucer shape rotating of (edit: some) "UFOs". Nice & thanks.
  6. +1 after 1 year without issues, my G2 tracking suddenly started to get "jumpy". I tried to change the lights and reduced reflections in the room. But no joy. After resetting the environment data the prblem was solved for good. Never happened again (so far).
  7. Thanks. I was hoping to find a solution for a FPS limiter within "normal" DCS. But the mentioned methods from that thread are good enough till there is a way in DCS.
  8. thanks @dburne when you encounter a "VPC Constellation ALPHA-RAlpha & whatever-Base Sale" please feel free to post here again
  9. @Fakum What about the MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI ?
  10. No worries. I've learned from your answers and that helped me to get better into this. I will keep an eye on it till I'll find out what caps my frames at 90&45 fps. In the meantime I push my settings to stay under 90 most of the time. DCS makes this an easy task in VR
  11. tried, but does not seem to work. my autoexec.cfg looks like: no_device_hotplug = true options.graphics.maxfps = 45 but the fps with my Reverb G2 are switching between "locked" 90 fps and 45. I have MR -> off in SteamVR settings, V-sync in DCS is off, V-sync in nVida Settings -> "app..." I use stable DCS 2.8.1.34667.2 It's not a big issue but sometimes there are small stutters when fps jump from 90 to 45 and I wondered whether I could avoid those by limiting fps at (max) 45.
  12. Could someone please tell me how to limit the max fps in the autoexec.cfg (for VR)?
  13. Ich denk das ist ganz normal. Sobald die Grafik in VR super aussieht ist man (so wie ich meistens) im GPU Limit. In diesen Situationen hilft MT nicht merklich was die max. FPS angeht.
  15. With that resolution it is quite obvious that you hit the GPU limit rather than the CPU limit especially in freeflight. You might wanna try some heavy CPU missions.
  16. I'm on the fence too with building a new PC. I wanted to wait till DCS MT shows what it brings because DCS is the only "Game" that gave me headaches performance wise. I thought I could avoid a RTX 4090 but so far it seems DCS MT is only/most useful with a huge GPU power. Maybe I start with a 4090 and see what my old i7 8700 can do with it and MT. But for now I wait and see how MT develops.
  17. Ok, thanks. You see: your GPU limits the performance by 3x higher frame times. Even if MT reduces CPU frame times a lot E.g. even if your CPU frame time was 10 to 18 ms you would not see much worse performance in this example.
  18. It is a matter of what you give your GPU to do. Even a RTX 4090 can be the bottleneck with extreme settings (and VR). Do you know your GPU/CPU frame times?
  19. MT should reduce CPU frame times. So in situations when your GPU limits the performance, MT does not show its benefits.
  20. niedrigere CPU frame times.
  21. Here is an interesting one by @phant
  22. Thanks @phant ! This is exactly what I wanted to see. Good job ED so far!
