  1. Yeah I've landed the Viggen without wings and only a center gear once. :P
  2. Bacause Block 40's and 50's still use the v5 to this day? A "Block" with a CCIP config (which isnt't even a US thing by the way but for exports) is just an upgrade and systems spec. Here's the exact specs for the 68 https://trace.tennessee.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?referer=https://www.google.com/&httpsredir=1&article=3802&context=utk_gradthes Using well known radar equations for detaction range of PD dishes one can fairly accurately estimate the detection ranges of various RCS targets in a non ECM environement.
  3. There already are for the 21, by default.
  4. You call this a source? We 100% have the v5 in the DCS Viper. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/337985199_On_the_use_of_AESA_Active_Electronically_Scanned_Array_Radar_and_IRST_InfraRed_SearchTrack_System_to_Detect_and_Track_Low_Observable_Threats
  5. In my opinion you can absolutely aerobrake the 21, just dont slam it like a twat and keep holding and pulling the stick upon touchdown. I'll make a video later on to demonstrate.
  6. Are you guys still going on about this? It has been aknowledged and marked as reported.
  7. LOL what. Source?
  8. The bort number isn't a huge deal if they include some more stock liveries. I actually prefer the "baked" in bort numbers since those look much better and cause less issues. Last time I checked the brightness and contrast controls were working for a long time (via keybinds). The BK90 is mostly fixed by now or is working according to the game engine's limitations. It's still an unpowered glide bomb and has a 9-10km standoff range at best (wonder why you cant shoot it from higher up and farther though).
  9. Yes, everyone who owns the 27 gets it now.
  10. Let's just say this, TWS isn't used on the Viper according to SME's I've talked to. Especially not on the APG-68 series. The 16 isn't a BVR fighter (withoud MIDS enhancement). If anything the DCS Viper's radar hugely overperforms in detection range, while not being jammable at the same time. The ACM modes seem to underperform on the other hand in terms of acquistion speed and reliability.
  11. You're the man Ragnar! Seriously appreciate your constant work on our beloved Viggen and listening to feedback and reports.
  12. Did you by chance relese the parking brake?
  13. You'll probably set a waypoint or F10 mark and it lists the targets in its proximity. The Viggen can already do that via the kneeboard.
  14. Cobra said it is planned as an option for the special options tab. When it actually arrives, no idea. Most likely with the 3d pilots.
  15. Yep, like the fact you can click the fuel tank and weapon jettison buttons throught he cover (covers closed), which was reported YEARS ago and seems like a very easy and quick fix. As for point 3. The Viggen is an AMAZING sneaky interceptor and run stuff down plane. Nothing accelerates or climbs as fast as it.
  16. +1 Or another development update once there is stuff to show? :music_whistling:
  17. If you get unlucky you get an asymetric flap split and well, go have fun with that. Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should.
  18. Next year more than likely.
  19. +1
  20. Correct, but said visual (mainly external) and sound improvements were promised years ago and have to be delivered asap. The in-cockpit pilot model is also very poorly implemented and seems very rushed. Even Razbam does better than this.
  21. The big items are the improvements to the in-cockpit pilot model (since it's implemented very poorly), an external PBR and sound overhaul and more liveries. Some minor bugfixing here and there as well.
  22. I just turn off the pipper, use the net and dim it, usign the sound as a "tone" cue. Works much better that way.
  23. Any news or previews on the A and the Viggen progress?
  24. Jester IFF bind would be nice. (to force him to IFF the hooked or locked contact)
