Well said. My personal experience with most Harrier drivers is: Stage 1 - New: Well, this aircraft is awesome. Some small bugs, but ok. Look mommy, I can hover already for two seconds. Stage 2 - around 20-50h in the seat: Well, ok, this worked last time, why it does not work this time. lets see what the NATOPS say. Oh well, it seems that this is not yet implemented the correct way. Hmm, my slew is also still buggy. Look mommy, I can now vertically land on the Tarawa. Stage 3 - after 50h in the seat: Come on, really? That is also wrong implemented? Forget the NATOPS, you can't do anything according it. Yes mommy, I can land now also during night. Stage 4 - after 75h in the seat: Why is this annoying/important bug not fixed after two years? And this? And This? And this? Why are even the HOTAS and light functionalities wrong? No mommy, I can't land in IFR conditions on the Tarawa because they did not implement the correct ILS! Stage 5 - after around 100h: Last chance wasted -> Ragequit

ED will not do anything. The Harrier is Razbams responsibility, not ED's. At least, ED goes the easy way: Can't handle EA, don't buy EA. And if you start to speak up too much - you get banned. Russian mentality. As I said before: Threads like this are coming every few months in Razbams Sub. They are getting ignored by Razbam, and also by ED. There is just nothing we can do. Only thing is, to vote with our wallet. Razbam will release the F-15 and Mig-23 soon, you will see. And ED will push them fully. On Jannuary 3rd, NineLine posted this in the weekend news: Every single word in that quote is a bad joke. So you know how Razbam behaves. You know how ED reacts to that. Vote with your wallet, spare the time for everything else.

No need for any personal discussion, its quite simple: The Harrier misses A LOT of its functionality. Nearly nothing can't be done according NATOPS, because A LOT of the systems are working wrong, not correct, are missing something or are bugged. Overall, there are a lot of bugs since years, many of them are not even aknowledged by Razbam. They went silent on the official Forum because they can't control the comments. If you bring up any of the shortcommings on their Discord, you get kicked and banned. Roadmaps are brought and then forgotten. Promises are made and then broken. Razbam modules are far away from the quality all other modules have in DCS. That are facts and no personal opinions. So this have nothing to do with EA. EA is fine, but Razbam is abuseing it and uses that term as apology for their own shortcommings. That probably works for a year or two, but not forever. Especially when the announce one new module after the other while there three modules out are still missing a lot of things. There is one thing Razbam did not realized: We paid already 100%, they are in charge to deliver the yet missing percent. Threads about ranting at Razbam appear here every two to three months. Nothing new: Is RAZBAM or ED reading this section or the Bugs section? Time to start putting disclaimers on? How finished is Harrier? The reason was that there were many features that were not a Any concern over Harrier development? Is this a dead module? why^2?

Sie beginnen zu blinken wenn sie in10 Sekunden in optimaler Schussweite sind, mit einer Gefährlichkeit hat das nichts zu tun. Jester funktioniert im TWS ganz gut, auch wenn man mehrer Ziele zugleich bekämpft. Lediglich das manuelle durchschalten der Zielreihenfolge kann er (noch) nicht.

Razbam shared roadmaps hundred times, promised hundred times dates and promised hundred times that they are working "full steam and everything will be finished soon". Everytime they were not able to fulfill anything they said, so another roadmap will help exactley nothing. There has been way too much talk over the years and zero to none walk. The only thing that could help to get their reputation back, would be to do all that promised things. So as I said before, just forget about Razbam. I was really upset about how they treat their customers and especially the Harrier. You alone and we all can't change anything. We can only vote with our wallet. So I'm not spending anymore time on Razbam and they will never see a cent from me again.

My personal oppinion: Forget the Harrier and everything else from Razbam. The quality is far away from the standard other DCS modules have and i don't expect that they'll ever reach a higher quality or even get finished (or close too). The only thing where Razbam is strong, is in announcing new modules and posting on Facebook. We have now the end of August, take a look at the changelogs for 2020 and you'll see the truth.

Actually I'm reading the book "Black Aces High" which is as Tomcat lover an absolute pleasure to read. I can only highly recommend it. Beside a lot of interesting things, they also go a bit more in detail with the Lantirn and its shortcommings. I would really like to know if those are alread known by Heatblur, and also if there are any plans to include them: What software glitch? As far as I know, the difference between passive ranging and laser ranging is already implemented, but is it as far as a half mile off? What kind of automatic figures needed to be adjusted with manual/calculated ones? If I understand that correct, the indicated laser range should/could jump around on different values when useing it in rain/snow. Also it could happen that the laser don't reach the surface and the bomb does not get guided. At the moment, it is possible to even laser trough the airframe when flying inverted, maybe with a new weather engine those things like "laser is not going through clouds" will also be implemented by ED - as soon as the clouds are synced. Would be awesome to get feedback from HB regarding those things.

Don't waste your time in discussion. Its not working and Razbam is aware of it. If they will ever fix it - only they will know. Because of the absolute low level quality of all Razbam products I've decided to not care anymore about it. The whole forum is not able to change anything in their philosophy - so I just won't give them any money in the future. Thats all I can do. Also don't waste your time on discussing such things with shagrat, he's an absolute white knight, especially for Razbam. Not worth the time typing.

In all DCS planes you can hear it when you flick switches. That is not realistic, but it brings up the immersion as you are missing the haptic feedback.

Without steam, gameing on the desktop computer wouldn't be there where it is today. If it would even exist anymore. Don't blame steam if you clearly not useing it, because then you don't know all those advantages. If ED has a problem with steam, they should easily not offer DCS on steam. But on the other hand, steam is probably the best ressource for gaining new customers - and the DCS userbase on steam is growing constantly. I can understand that probably not everything they do in their shop is possible at steam also (valve has their restrictions, and they know why), but then there should be also an adequate solution for those users. So they don't feel like treated as second class.

According to what I've seen yet, it would have been an insta-buy. Too bad to read this, once again steam users feel like treated as second class. At least i hope that there will be a discount for steam users at release, otherwise I'll think again about a purchase... PS: Why is it the pre-sale then even announced on steam?

Just take a look when the Harrier was released, in what state it is, estimate when it will be feature complete and bug-free. Based on that, and on the "probably said release date at the end of the year" you could estimate a feature complete, bug-free F-15E around 2025. But take into account that they've promised to finish the Harrier, Mig-19 and Mirage before touching any other module. Seems undoable until the end of the year, regarding the pace Razbam had until yet.

The 3 day offline timer is the same for the steam edition, so as I played the last time 5 days ago, I was not able to play with my squad yesterday. Had nothing to do with steam. Steam works fine. Even offline. Especially yesterday. Simple thing: If i paid for a product, I should be able to use it if there is no problem on my side. If copy protections gets agressive and patronizing, people will more look for illegalalternatives. Simple solution: Increase that 3 day offline policy to two weeks or one month. Or let that 3 day counter start when it can't reach the master server for the first time. Then that issue yesterday would have not happened.

Honestly, I don't care about if ED or Steam is responsible. I paid a lot of money and I want to play if I can fulfill all conditions, and I don't believe its steam, because steam itself and every other game worked without any problem. Maybe you can find a solution for the future. (Haveing modules activated for a USEFUL time since the last handshake with the masterserver - e.g. two weeks or one month - would be a good beginning; or valid until motherboard change etc...) I can understand that you are afraid of pirateing, but when that prevents from useing legal bought software, it will get popular again! What if my internet connection is down for a week because of a damage in the supply network? Or the connection of your masterserver? Are the thousand Euros I've already invested only worth two days if the Masterserver gets unplugged? Can't be true...

Same here, paid more then thousand Euros and not able to play with any of the modules I own. Thank you very much. My Wednsday evening training with my Squad just got canceled. Maybe I should invest my money better in the future.
