TGP for me please.

If you want to ground refuel, make sure you have less then 2400lbs onboard, and do not forget to open air refueling door (knob on left side panel). It does the trick.

I got out of memory exception: "Out of memory in ed_aligned_malloc for 40000 bytes.". I already talked with @Special K on Discord, but since I couldn't send the crashdump over DCS dialog, I am pasting it here. dcs.log dcs.log-20230410-191532.zip

Did you overclock your GPU? Issue is: DX11BACKEND More about this similar issue here.

As far as I understand, boresight mode should work without of use FCR, and you slew the radar on the AMRAAM on the target. This way adversary wouldn't even know it has been locked (same as Fox2 missiles). This works, but works the same way also with Slave mode. So you can turn the radar off completely, and when selecting AMRAAM missile so ASEC (Allowable Steering Error Circle) is visible on the HUD (circle appears) and if the bandit is inside of it, you can release the AMRAAM. Cannot get it to work with JHMCS, but it should I suppose. -- Btw, boresight mode works for the Sidewinder (aim-9), where you get that diamond symbology on the hud or jhmcs (it means it slews the seeker head on the missile to that diamond). But it does not for AMRAAM aim-120, or am I missing something.

I'm curious if this has been considered yet? He has made some good and relevant points, and would be awesome if the devs would take it into account.

How can I tell which steerpoint is selected from such map? Impossible to visually see the white dot of selected steerpoint.

Checking up here, did ED take a look about this missing piece of F-16 and how gun reticle is "erasing" stuff on the HUD while going over (except the gun funnel). In this upper video you can clearly see towards the end of it (at 1:50min).null

Sorry, wrong term, thats only the mode (auto) and not autopilot.
-
You have to press the button M-SEL (0) on the ICP, to engage the auto (mode). But you also have to switch the Autopilot Roll Mode Switch down (to STRG SEL position) and also the switch on the right Autopilot Pitch Mode - to engage the level hold or pitch hold (what ever you want). Check here the short video I did: https://youtu.be/wxrATjsUNis

@OnReTech Will there be any signs of life on this awesome looking map, something that moving (except us)? Things like trains, planes or commercial airports, maybe some balloons (an idea! never seen in DCS), maybe some other stuff? MSFS is an inspiration for things like that. And as someone else mentioned, Cairo's specialty are the green colored lights on mosques.

Clarification on LANTIRN roadmap item.
skywalker22 replied to Default774's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
In a way, we can be happy, right? So we as F-16 pilots get the best and the fastest I will take what ED will do, there is just nothing much we can do about it - its their game, and their choice. And btw, they listen us quite a lot, so we will be heard, no worries. -
uff, I completely forgot about that too. thx so much.

Taking the point for aligning mavericks, how far away it has to be? You guys are just saying "far away" or, "not too close" - but does anyone know what's the actual distance number? One more thing to note: taking the spot for boresighting few nm away, you can see s(h)it on the maverick Weapon display, since it is so low poly. Is there any way, to make the image better? It used to be ways better in the past.

I would rather have all 3 pods Because all three have been used on Block 50 by USAF. -

Some info: https://www.f-16.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13181 I think we should get all 3 TGPs sooner or later. And for the AN/AAQ-28, before putting it into rest, so we can enjoy it for the last time: please FIX the forward section with rotating lenses, they are not rotating any longer (its a known issue). -
fixed Error during maverick training mission
skywalker22 replied to misterh's topic in Bugs and Problems
Check log file called dcs.log inside of ...Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs. If you don't know how to read it, copy/paste it here, in case if its too big, upload somewhere, and paste the link over here. -
One more thing guys, can you please replace these big red-white chimneys? And they are all over the place. They do not belong here, thx so much.

reported Markpoint option "TGP" not showing up when cycling through
skywalker22 replied to Moonshine's topic in Bugs and Problems
That's been broken for at least time period of 2 updates. -
Is there any word how big in GBs this map will be? Based on the number of objects and level of details, it will be one of the biggest no doubt about it.

As he said, move you TDC cursor up and down, and maybe reduce the search scan with radar azimuth and elevation bar scan, to narrow down the probability of "time to find" the contact. Personaly I would use azimuth of 40deg (or less) and max number of elevatiuon (8 bars if oyu are not sure where to look for).

w.i.p Hostile track changes to Suspect
skywalker22 replied to Comrade Doge's topic in Bugs and Problems
I have these kind of "issues" many many times online on PvP servers. At one point, contacts are designated as hostile targets, so they are colored red, and all of a suddwen they turn, from at least to me unknown reason, to yellow. When that happens I try to interrogate contacts with TMS Left (short), and, in lets say 50% cases, they turn back into red. If not, I just turn away, since I am not sure what I am shooting at (friend or foe). That instant red to yellow color change it's kind of an annoying thing indeed. Not sure if is it a bug or not, but it definitely should need a 2nd look into the code what going on there.
