And for the AN/AAQ-28, before putting it into rest, so we can enjoy it for the last time: please FIX the forward section with rotating lenses, they are not rotating any longer (its a known issue).

  5. Is there any word how big in GBs this map will be? Based on the number of objects and level of details, it will be one of the biggest no doubt about it.
  6. As he said, move you TDC cursor up and down, and maybe reduce the search scan with radar azimuth and elevation bar scan, to narrow down the probability of "time to find" the contact. Personaly I would use azimuth of 40deg (or less) and max number of elevatiuon (8 bars if oyu are not sure where to look for).
  7. I have these kind of "issues" many many times online on PvP servers. At one point, contacts are designated as hostile targets, so they are colored red, and all of a suddwen they turn, from at least to me unknown reason, to yellow. When that happens I try to interrogate contacts with TMS Left (short), and, in lets say 50% cases, they turn back into red. If not, I just turn away, since I am not sure what I am shooting at (friend or foe). That instant red to yellow color change it's kind of an annoying thing indeed. Not sure if is it a bug or not, but it definitely should need a 2nd look into the code what going on there.
  8. And whole fleet is supported by AWACS for situational awareness - don't forget about that! Radar is only meant to lock targets from 20-40nm and shoot Fox-3 missiles. If 120 C-5 has optimal range up to 20nm, I would guess C-7 has 2x more, so up to 40nm. I am talking about distances you get your self some decent chance of hitting the target. So, this radar v5 does the trick.
  9. So, what they told you? In any case, I would say, based on AIM-120C-5 missile's range, the radar AN/APG-68 (V5) is good enough.
  10. I used to have these your settings, but lately I did some optimization for VR (also using trackIR), and did some modifications. Now I am wondering did you do any changes? And if you also have VR for these settings?

  12. In F-16, anyone noticed that Waypoint 1 is always empty? All other waypoint are there. Is this solvable? null
  13. @VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants that was pure luck, but whats more, you could also be dead as well. So try to avoid these kind of nose-to-nose confrontations. Its 50-50 who will win. At least I try to stay away from it. At least if you confront nose to nose try to keep your nose away from his, so he cannot shoot at you (and neithter you can't shoot at him of course). Look for other solutions. Best if to 2 circle, so you come behind him. I know its hard, but this is where F-16 shines the most.

  15. Yes, correct. Keep the fuel left in internal tank sub 2400lbs before refueling, and you will be able to refuel to 14000 in total!
  16. For many many types of aircraft the set speed in the editor is then when in game way lower. For example, lets take this F-15C, I set it to 700+kn, but when starting the mission, their speed is actually Its not just for AI aircrafts, actually same for for me, for my aircraft. Its a bit annoying, and would be good if this is fixed. No mods installed.
  17. AMRAAM has no clue about where the ground is, or any other obstacles on the way, everything on it's way can be a target. Its up to the pilot to shot it in the "correct" parameters, to make sure the missile will hit it's target.   18. How do you try to lock them up? TMS UP is for to go from Search Target to STT or DTT in RWS mode. It works fine for me.. just press RCtrl+Up (and bind your button on your hotas to that command - Target Management Switch Up). I tried your track, took the command of the plane and locked targets easily.

  20. One more thing, since F-16 prefers 2-circle fight, you can always try to force 2-circle fight. Maybe not in the initial circle, but later on, in each confrontation. Just observe the opponent's each move, even after you two went by each other.
  21. Try F-16, it will go into 2 circle.
  22. Well, I said it's not easy to master, specially to keep it above 400kns at all times - if possible of course (one circle surely not, even in 2-circle its very very difficult). Keep on trying, keep one eye (or check constantly) on you HUD (or JHMCS) for CAS. With time you will get the feeling of speed, at least some approximation of it, so you won't need to look for it so often. Just don't pull to hard... its batter to be fast with less turn rate, then vise versa. If you are fast, you can always pull and turn more if needed, if you are slow you are literary stuck in the air and become a sitting duck when pulling more (or too much). PS: in most cases if both pilots are equal skills, you in F-16 have very little chance of winning the dogfight against aircrafts which prefer one-circle fight, there is very little for you to do anything about it, maybe some luck or trying to overshoot the other pilot, or be creative, do something that will surprise the other one.
