  1. Thats is a new bug definitely. Example 1st pic: where is TGP looking from JHMCS, and 2nd pic: how it is actually positioned.
  2. Just checking if I got this: I create a new shortcut, and enter "" into Target textbox?
  3. Is it possible to make the DCS_updater.exe file not to start DCS.exe file after update is done? The thing is that it always start the game in VR now when I have VR connected to PC. Which I personally don't want to.
  4. Thats why I posted it in Bug thread, but it was some how moved to Wish list- go figure....
  5. There is no change in illumination of the button, in both states (pressed, depressed), all is illuminated (turned on), like this (RWR works fine). So its hard to know when is turned on or off.
  6. Is there any way to (exactly) figure out on F-16 if the radar stops emitting? How accurate is RWR (ALR-56M), does it stop showing on it, if there is no signal from the radar? So I can at least be sure harm has been fired when radar was locked-on to.
  7. What happens to the HARM if it looses the signal from emitting radar (when radar stops emitting)? Where is it pointing then? Here says this: If the system (target) is powered back down, the AGM-88 can still close with the target’s last known location using GPS guidance. Do DCS's HARM works same way?
  8. Its not jet that tomorrow Anyway, based on comments of others here, I guess there is no so-called "perfect shot", that there is still a (some) possibility AGM-88 misses its target. So there is no point of proving anything, if this is really the case here. But I will surely do some more tests, and let you guys know, I hope I can manage to do them today. ps: look my number of comments, nice.
  9. I thought so, just wanted to clarify for others who will read here.
  10. It actually doesn't do different things, but it goes back to STT to Search Target (STT -> Bugged -> System -> Track -> Search -> and apparently even to RWS).
  11. This is there for a couple of years, not sure if its a feature, but it shouldn't be, since this does long press TMS right (TMS right is swapping between RWS and TMS). There was never any word about TMS Down for changing between these two functions. This has to be some old "bug" or something.
  12. Also here, when sun shines on the panels, you can clearly see the labeling on IP-1310/ALR and thread warning prime:
  13. This is an actual pic, but from 15 block, but seems to be identical, at least on the outside. Also here in this video is visible the labeling.
  14. T button will finally be functional guys Thx
  15. In 1st contact with any tower they usually tell you bearing, range, atmospheric pressure and runway number. Then you wait that they respond with "cleared for visual, contact tower" and then I try to contact them back on the same frequency as before to request for landing, but no response from them.... until almost the last second before touch down. This is the same procedure on all airports and on all maps. Same discussion was going on way back here, but this has to be some sort of a bug. ATC_no_response_landing.trk
  16. How about analog controls, like where you have to press and move (example: turn on JHMCS on f16, fa18)?
  17. Exactly. Maybe, maybe, you could set the max top position at that edge line (as said before), becuase now in DCS it goes over (an inch to high).
  18. Ok, will do that tomorrow.
  19. Here you can finally see from behind, how ailerons go waaay up, almost as high as in currently in DCS. They go up, right to that edge line (in DCS go even over).
  20. Again missed by little (2nd target)... what is going on? Might be a bug of some sort... @BIGNEWY would you please ask the team to check... because HARMs in HAS mode (or in this particular mission) are far but being accurate. I will paste a mission here... wait a sec. f16_harm_HAS_mode.trk Thanks a lot mate.
  21. Indeed, the 4th last SAM site is a huge challenge. I also only succeeded with landing and rearming, and even that in my 5th attempt - with sending 2 HARMs one after another, which finally destroyed SA-10. I would say, that the mission is not designed to replicate the RL, specially not because you are there just by your self. But in this misison, I see different issue: without HTS (HARM Targeting Pod) so in HAS mode, the accuracy is really not good... not by much, but for lets say, 30-50ft, enough not to damage the target. I didn't try the HARM accuracy with HTS pod. Maybe there is any glitch with this particular mission. But as much as I used HARM in HAD mode, it was spot on in over 80% for sure - here in this mission it worse then 50%. Has anyone else noticed inaccuracy of the HARM at least in HAS mode? I have to try it with HTS pod on as well and HAD mode. -- Tried the mission again, and again a missed shot again:
  22. Or check here, how much up they go, even if you cant see it actually, but they surely go over the horizontal position: Here is well visible, they go way up, I would say to their max top positon: Also @ 3:45.
  23. Ailerons go also up, not sure how much, but here you can clearly see they go:
  24. I think we have quite similar observations on different aircrafts in DCS, but I would only disagree on F-16 and F/A-18C, which have noise jamming implemented, you can see that clearly on FCR (CRMode) on F-16, if they use jammer (with those 2 yellow arrows over the search target).
