  1. That´s some Kick-Ass flying there! Not much into Prop/ Transport planes myself, but my Hat is off to Anubis to pull this off! Hope work continues as a Transport is much needed in DCS.
  2. It´s great to see Normandy getting some love! My favourite Map for low flying Jets. Looking forward the release.
  3. All you ever need:
  4. I´d like to thank the good folks at vJaBoG 66 for doing this and their votes! For just 10 bucks (6.50 if you have Miles or whatever) it is really a great value anyway and everyone who owns the original A-10 should go for it. And to further celebrate one that didn´t make the cut ... Panthers for the WIN :)
  5. You could also just delete MFD 1 and 2 (that´s what I do). After deleting you can assign any button to wherever you want. The downside: - you have to manually assign every button to the MFD´s - like the other method, after each update you have to delete the MFD 1 & 2 again; however you must not reassign every button again. They stay where you´ve put them.
  6. Good news indeed! Looking forward to it.
  7. Panthers on the prowl.
  8. He does know by looking at his TGT Pod and/ or the distance to the WP, which in this case is pretty much the same. Using these Rockets you will most likely have some kind of designation, so distance measuring shouldn´t be the problem.
  9. You know that with the recently added Mobile TACAN Station at least those you can add as many as you like? My only gripe with the Map so far is the low rendering distance when looking through the Targeting Pod. I do remember times when it was similar in the rest of the (DCS) World, so I have hopes that this will get fixed eventually.
  10. Combined with the Missile Trainer a simple reskin will do.
  11. Happend to me once in Nellis. Turned out it was the date I set in the ME. Changing that did bring my lines back ... go figure.
  12. If you rename the Mission into a *.zip file you´ll find a folder called "Config" in there. That´s where the Views (of the Mission creator) are saved. I never tried but you should be able to either manipulate the settings there, or just delete the whole folder.

    F-15E?

Everyone of us old enough to remember Janes F-15E will also remember that it works perfectly fine in SP. Thus I´m rather happy with the "no AI Backseater" route.
  14. FWIW, not that it will help you much, but I don´t see this at all running a rather old system (I7-3770 @3.4, 16 GB RAM and a 1070GTX). Even in Pikeys 900 SAM Mission my CPU runs between 40-60% and the RAM is stable between 13 and 15GB usage. The only thing maxed out is the GPU. Gameplay is mostly smooth and the only time I see some stuttering or Micro-Freezes is when something - anything really - accesses my WIN HD for more than 5%. Thankfully this isn´t very often. Ofc I´m not opposed to further optimization at all :)
  15. Thanks much! Greatly appreciated.
  16. That would be greatly appreciated! Will you make a NAV Point Template too (like you guys did for Black Sea and PG)? Thanks much!
  17. The Portable TACAN Beacon is now working (YEAH!) and can be placed anywhere, so you can make your own TCN wherever you like. Find it in the Mission Planner: Ground Units/ FORTIFICATION/ TACAN Beacon (Man Portable) TTS 3030. You need to define a TCN Channel via the "Advanced (Waypoint Actions)" after you placed it.
  18. I´ll soon find out anyway, but still wonder if the Syria Map will come with Airport Diagrams and Approach/ Departure Plates?
  19. You don´t have to, that would be the job of a (good) Community Manager. You do what you are supposed to do, coding/ building the Map. Maybe you could have a chat with your CM?
  20. The 60° default is a good middle ground for most DCS Type loadouts and the NRAS displayed in the VREST page does change according to your weight. If you really want to go the extra mile you can use the RL documents to calculate the correct numbers (including PC values), and ofc you can input/ change them via the ODU. It´s a mood point though as the correct numbers do not translate to a correct behavior in Sim. This however not because RAZBAM did a bad job, but due to limitations of the DCS core engine. If you questioning the FM is more than "just a feeling" then I would encourage you to write it up, include some verifyable data on what is and what should be and pass them on to RAZBAM. I`m sure they´ll not only listen, but also act upon if they can (see above). A very good example of how such a write up could look like can be found here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=262823 As you can see there not only did a user provide data on what is wrong, he also did provide the needed numbers as well as a (very simple to do) fix. Unfortunately it is still not fixed :( On top of that, even tho it is about the F-16, it does affect the Harrier as well. And - can you believe it - even the numbers you are talking about.
  21. And what exactly would you say is it that is still unresolved?
