  2. I have searched the topic, but couldn't seem to find the info. Do I need to re-download the full asset packs every time there is an addition or update? Or, is there a "patch" download option that only downloads the newest additions or changes, that I can just append to my existing asset pack? Thank you for these incredible assets, I use CH modules in ALL of my missions!
  3. @ggrewe Hey, sorry it took me so long to reply. I hadn't got any replies myself so I figured I was just outta luck. Thanks for the info and directions, I'm trying to do a couple different skins for the MaxxPro MRAP now. I know there's not much in the line of different paint schemes that you see on them irl. But, I'm just trying to do a few different shades and paint conditions on it. I can't seem to find the right file that I need to load into Model Viewer for it. Thanks for the SMERCH file, I have actually found a lot of real world SMERCHs with desert paint jobs on them. So I'm glad to finally be able to use the ones I made. I'm slowly trying to add some skin variety to ground units, once I get some ready I'll share them with you and upload them to the repo.

  5. @Bluto74 oh, my bad. I haven't really got to do much on the map yet, hopefully I'll get some time on it later. I placed a cold tomcat and flew around Kandahar for a minute. Hopefully they'll release a quick fix patch for the problem along with a fix for flaming cliffs owners.
  6. Yeah it would be handy in the manual. But, I can understand how the manual can fall behind at the rate that new trigger features and functions are added. There would have to be some type of dynamic manual implemented, if that's even possible, I'm script/code illiterate. I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future, ED releases another updated manual. The DCS community is the most active simming community I've ever seen. Anytime there's a patch with new features, the content creators are on the ball, releasing a video on it.

  8. Thank you @winghunter and those who put their own time and effort into this tool. I've never seen so much sand in peoples va*inas over things that are absolutely free for them to use. I can understand people giving constructive input as some are doing, to help make a free utility even better. But, as for the baseless insults for a product that people have $0 invested in, excluding the creators. Those should probably hit the local pharmacy and grab a couple douche kits and get to work on flushing out that sticky 'ol sand, just get right in there, consider even using a water hose for extra pressure.
  9. Which airfield? I had problems using ground crew on the Kandahar, so I set the connected heliport as bluefor also, and then it worked.
  10. @diego999 when you have the launcher onscreen, go to "options", on the right hand side of the window is the slider switch to "disable launcher". Just turn it off, then go to your root install folder. Scroll to "bin-mt" folder, open it and launch DCS using the DCS.exe inside.

  14. @jamie_c Oh ok, I gotchya. I honestly didn't know and I'm not savvy on that type of thing. Thanks for that workaround, I really like the SE and have been REALLY puked out with the customers being used as pawns and leverage.
  15. How was it deliberately broken? I was under the assumption that RB wasn't providing anything along the lines of patches or updates. So who threw the "monkey wrench" into the latest patch?

  17. I can't get any of the fixes to work. I really wish I could, I love the MAM pack, I use it in every single .miz I work on.
  18. I had a "brown-out" today, it was magnificent, I think it caused me to have an out of body experience.
  19. I can deal with the textures and animation modeling for now. Though I really hope they plan on refining them and adding a few more animations?! I just can't get past the sounds, or lack thereof, they're REALLY REALLY bad. The .50 arm and recock is ok, but firing it sounds like someone shooting vinyl siding with an airsoft rifle. Ground idle on ext view isn't too bad just kinda low and needs a little bit of bass, but internally sounds like a street sweeper truck. The in flight sound is just a disaster, it's like a car from the Jetsons, but with a dead cylinder. It's a fun little module, but $70 is REALLY HIGH for the mod. Hopefully they'll hear the community and it'll get the, Gazelle treatment.

    Wonder if ED plans on compensating customers who bought the Strike Eagle? Pulling the module and giving a refund, or a sizeable discount to be applied to another module?
