  1. Default option allows 0.5 seconds for you to return the stick to center. As far as trimming im experimenting with different methods, yes similar trimming method to the KA-50 seems to work ok. One thing very different from the KA-50 is the yaw channel. In the Hind, if you are in stable flight and want to turn 90 degrees you don't need to trim at all where that would never work in the Shark.
  2. Sounds like your Yaw AP channel is off.
  3. For rockets, arming switches are in the front seat
  4. Im no expert in the Hind, but, No, there is no digital navigation systems in the Hind.
  5. roby14, mvsgas has posted a picture of the REAL F-16 pedal assembly. You can CLEARLY see its a pivoting mechanism. The pictures you have posted have nothing to do with the REAL F-16 pedal assembly. The animation in DCS is correct, apart from the already stated range of motion inaccuracy.
  6. Hopefully BS3 will include "system refinement" as OP has mentioned. As well as others i won't mention in this thread.
  7. Personally i think 2.7 is way better. Watching the vid above i kinda cringed at the 2.6 sound. That's just me though, i haven't flown an F-5. Just my 2cents. Edit: I do hear what the OP means about the "vacuum sweeper" though after watching the video again, it is a bit excessive.
  8. If you have transferred modules to the standalone version then you are not seen as new player. That is my assumption.
  9. While cold temperatures do affect batteries, surely this "feature" is over modeled? Maybe is a limitation of the type of battery the Huey has. Plenty of aircraft starting in -40 deg C temperatures. Electric vehicles still work at -40 deg C.
  10. You will need the Combined Arms module. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/other/combined_arms/
  11. Care to mentions where the F-15 flight model feels like an "arcade game" ??
  12. If you don't have pedals and are using the twist stick for rudder there is an option in the special tab to force trim rudder. Worth mentioning in case you didn't know.
  13. End of the day you make do with what you have. You will be fine with the Logitech 3D pro. They are are a good stick, i gun'd the KA-50 around back in the day with that old g'l.
  14. Lots of #25 pics here: https://www.net-maquettes.com/pictures/kamov-ka-50-hokum-walkaround/
  15. Its pretty much as simple as copy and paste the DCS folder.
  16. Welcome to the forum. Try going to mission editor, on the screen where you choose your coalitions you should have an option to change map in the top left.
  17. RWR ? Don't care My concern is IR threats.
  18. Thanks A16 I was just checking the manual for clarification. " 4. "КРАН КОЛЬЦЕВ. – ЗАКРЫТО" (Cross feed – Closed) fuel tank cross feed switch [RCTRL + RSHIFT + ;] and cover. [RALT + RCTRL + RSHIFT + ;] The crossfeed valve allows fuel supply of one engine from all tanks, in case of other engine's failure or both engines/APU supply from one tank in case of loss of fuel from the other tank (rupture by enemy fire). It's normally closed and should be open in case one of the above mentioned events occurs. Also, it is recommended to open the cross feed valve upon warning for 110 kg fuel quantity remaining in any of the tanks. "
  19. Ok so, you take a hit to the one tank and its leaking fuel. Wouldn't turning on cross feed pump more fuel to the tank that's leaking and accelerate your fuel loss?
  20. Are you using the Saitek drivers? If so remove them and try default Windows drivers. I had this problem years ago and this is how i got around it.
