  1. Still patiently waiting for the elevation hehehe Thanks alot Comrade
  2. To avoid getting easily notched you can try flying at lower altitude than your target but the disadvantage is your missile range bit shorter than your opponent.
  3. F-16 tree strike. Try that in DCS even just little bit of tree tip will result in total loss (explode) with any aircrafts and helis AFAIK. I agree the result would be severe if you hit it on the big part of the tree but just little bit of tip ? Exploded?
  4. I second this request or whatever. Its just wrong when the plane hit only tip of tree and then become total loss.... explode. It seem simplified damage model. I remember seing youtube video an F-16 hit tree and managed to get to the base.
  5. I tried it again but on GS server (Washington supercarier) and cannot reproduce but this time I turned off NWS before launched. Was that the caused of this problem? Thanks.
  6. I was having black out on launch on supercarrier (MP Hoggit server). Is this known problem or I did something wrong? Thank you.
  7. Yeah its very noticeable on exported MFD. Its quite big and I like it. Thank you ED [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  8. Try fly the Viper (again) then. Current state is not as complex as Hornet. No carrier, only 2 Mfd, intuitive hotas control which loved by many. Its easier than Hornet IMO. Fly..... shoot.... drop bomb and land. Tbh I would avoid any trainer aircrafts because we're playing a sim already but thats just me.
  9. Roger that. Thanks. I think I was wrong on the assumption.
  10. This thread is gold. Save me from headache to assign the Tx. Thank you all. Cheers
  11. What does this "G loading" means? Does that mean I can pull 9G for like 5 to 10 sec and not black out ?
  12. I'm not sure if this is an exploit but in DCS Hornet right now since ED in their infinite wisdom decided that APG-73 can detect and shoot missiles, you can beat it simply with just shooting down the R-33 and smile at the AI lol.
  13. It was in MP (GS server). I'll try to reproduce it in SP when I have time.
  14. Yeah I thought so too. I asked just in case I missed these after searching in the manual. Thank you.
  15. Its not only in rws, it also could happen in tws if you shoot it at above 15 degree pitch. It would go ballistic even with maintaned radar lock (tws). Its fine with Hornet under the same condition.
  16. What are the keywords for asking ground crew to update the DTC and to remove/install refueling probe on the Jeff? Thanks
  17. This! Given the complexity of the module (our Apache pilot calls it "flying computer ") I would say the EA highly likely will be released next year. Enjoy whatever you have right now and try to forget it for a while.
  18. I was simply respond to the "excellent patch" which I little bit disagree. So not really OT. Carry on...
  19. I wouldnt call it excellent patch tbh. ED broke RWS SAM with the update and AIM-120 goes ballistic (not tracking) if it launched in RWS SAM with hotfix and we should wait only ED know when we can get the fix. Other than that its ok patch.
  20. Hi Frederf, should the SAM mode triggers the lock warning on the target ? AFAIK it shouldnt from my experience in "other F-16 sim that cannot be named".
  21. Its the opposite what I've seen in MP. A player questioned the chaff resistence of the ER which seem was quite good after got killed twice by the ER lol. I also saw many good kills with ER in MP (GS server).
  22. I recall in the days of my playing Janes FA-18 there's a awesome tutorial about APG-73 with gif animations. I learned great deal from this. It was Baskat's APG-73 radar tutorial IIRC. Just tried to google it but it gave me deadlink. I wonder if someone still has it. Very good tutorial if you can find it.
  23. Thats weird. Mine does not limp and it stays still and holds its position after I release the trim button. I do have taped the sensor on my MSFFB2 tho.
  24. I noticed this too. It would only need one SD-10 to bring down the F-14 while with Amraam you would always need 2. TBH I could not care less with this and tend to like it especially against F-14. Little OT sorry, Some F-14 pilots in MP easily could change slot when they took damage to deny a kill. Well .....with SD-10 they would down almost instantly.
  25. It has been decided to give the user that option, for his/her satisfaction while using the DCS AV-8B Night Attack module. This is the way [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
