Easy. We don't have anything that you can control. FCR is still not here.
-
OK, since you have LOS, do you have big box on your TADS when JTAC laser is active?
-
Honestly, all sling load capable helicopters should have that option (except KA-50)
-
You need to be in constraints in the first place and have LOS to target. Do you have big solid box on your TADS?
-
No. First you need to understand that this is how it behaves in real life. There are microswitches under footholds, which themsleves are mounted in such way that just putting your feet on them will activate microswitches. And then you will only have yaw dampening. Removing your feet from pedals will switch yaw AP to heading hold mode and it will move pedals on its own to maintain heading. When Hind showed up, it had AP pedal trim mode, then in one of the patches it was removed and then it was introduced again. Since we don't have physical microswitches under our pedals, ED provided is with binding to mimic pressing the microswitches and disabling heading hold mode. Default is Y. So, you either need to hold it down or even better, put it on a physical switch that will hold position. Other options are to use 3rd party programs like Joystick Gremlin to toggle that button or turn off yaw AP channel. What you are refering to only changes how your controls behave after you press trim button (whether they stop responding, or jump or whatever). So, in your case, set pedals trimmer button to no trim (because you do not need to trim pedals at all), microswitch logic to off. Pedals trimmer mode is irelevant. Also, you might want to have trim reset binded, because sometimes you will forget to turn off heading hold and you will need a way to sync your pedals with game.

OK, so your physical hat is changing mode I know basics of Virpil software but I am not familiar with it. Try this https://www.youtube.com/@HavocCompanyClan -

Do you have anything binded to your hat? Except trim button for the middle press? If nothing is binded, I don't see how it can cause you problems -
cannot reproduce and missing track file JTAC Lasing not working no more

Even in SP it is done through F10 menu -
Force Trim (on stick) problem with Virpil MT-50CM2

I have a question for you. When you fly and you are trimmed out, do you press and hold trim button before you start turning or do you start turning and then press trim button? -

OK, if I understood correctly, when not paying attention, instead of pressing hat down, you move it to one side, causing another button to fire? And that causes game to recognise it as if you pressed force trim release? -

Is JTAC done by script? Because it still works in SP. I even used your code (since there were issues with different codes before). -
Then switch to front seat and let George do the hovering.
-
Also check you don't have double bindings for yaw axis. And, if possible, record short track, it will be easier for us to spot any problems.
-
It works fine on my end.
-
Gazelle is the only helicopter in my group that is not regularly flown as MC due to de-sync issues.
-
Yes, but both for Hind and Apache, you can see only controlling inputs
-
Apache does not have trim setting for pedals only. Only way to disable it is by going into FMC and disabling yaw channel
-
I don't know about Ka-50, but only Mi-24 has it as far as I know. And that is only because it will actually move pedals. Are you talking about heading hold part of SCAS? Just hold force trim release when moving around

Ways to make the SP pilot/cpg relationship a bit more rewarding?
admiki replied to Digitalvole's topic in DCS: AH-64D
ED is giving that functionality (at least some of it) to Petrovich as a test platform. It will spill over to George. This being said........ Join a squadron. Black Shark Den for example. We have both EU and US people (actually from all around the world) and we require one flight per month with another BSD member (doesn't need to be mission, it can be just for fun 1 hour flight). -
I didn't mean giving him free fire, but consent to fire. If out of range, he will say so. George will not fire over 9,2 km (I think). Big box doesn't indicate range, just that seeker sees laser returns. Now, in DCS, AH-64 laser doesn't work over 9999m, so you'll know when you are in range. I have hit moving targets from 9800. So, give him consent to fire, if it's a miss (due to obstacle) you can reposition and give him consent again
-
OK, friend says that you have to use no curves and full saturation. Problem is that stick thinks it is in different position and then tries to get where it should be. Maybe you can try to modify output with Joystick Gremlin. It's free so it will only cost time if it doesn't pan out.
-
Don't launch it yourself, let him do the firing and he will not fire until within range. And if you want to shoot it, don't fire until you see big box, that means you are within 10 km,

what happened to the Cyclic trim?
admiki replied to 71st_Mastiff's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
No. You require right pedal only when light on wheels. That is correct behaviour. Your main rotor is not giving full torque reaction yet, but your tailrotor is producing thrust. 0% pedal does not mean 0% thrust. You'll notice that as you continue to pull collective you will need left pedal to counter torque. Besides, if you are not jerking on your collective, SCAS should be able to hold your heading quite nicely.
