You are correct sir. The guy on the left seat is called "chef de bord" in french, which is difficult to translate but the closest would be "vehicle commander". He is the most experienced, usually a captain.

same in France and in Germany as far as I know.

The guy on the left seat is not the co-pilot.

He is the captain. He leads the gazelle/ flight/squad.

He is also a pilot, upper graded.

 

The pilot on the right seat is the "driver"

looks great, I am just getting the gazelle under control in most flight regimes so this Kannon will be a very welcome addition.

It's ammo box contains 240 rounds.

Max range is 2kms, utility range is 1200m and rate of fire is 740 rounds a minute.

There are pictures that show a Dutch Gazelle with one, but it was just mounted there for show. It was not functional.

For the mini-gun it is too be included in 2017 for the forward firing and just now for the side firing one. It doesn't fit the DCS gazelle time frame.

Which rocket pod will you use ? 12 or 7 rockets ?

Which weapon panel ?

Will you add the MG pods ?

The Gun+rocket version we are going to release is fictional if we refer to what ALAT used.

That's why the liveries are named "fictional" the same way there's no british or american "Viviane" Gazelle.

The SA-342L with have the gun and rocket combo. The SA-342M will have the HOT3. They are going to be seperate aircraft to choice from in the mission editor.
