Really enjoyed that Mr Wagner, very good. We had some twit's on the chat unfortunately but that is to be expected.

Really nice to see the new map, I can see why it's not ready for release but fingers crossed it will be with us for Christmas :-)

Thanks for slogging through the rough start, and sticking with it.

Much appreciated Matt and team.

After the iffy start with the crashes, that was a really good glimpse into DCS 2. Thank you Matt. Very impressed with what I saw over all.

Agree. Thanks Matt.

Edit: And ignore the idiots on the chat feed (Mizzy just reminded me).

Well sadly, my internet connection isn't upto streaming Twitch. Managed to get 20 mins of footage before it fell over and now it keeps stopping every 5 secs. Making it bloody impossible to watch. I'm about to throw this bloody IPad out of the window.

On the bright side, what I did see looked very impressive. Sadly it's obvious that it currently isn't very stable, which obviously means it's gonna be a little time yet, before we see it released, but hell I paid for the NTTR map back In 2010 I think, so a few more months isn't gonna make any difference.

Loved the graphics, the frame rate was impressive given all the scenery detail, it's certainly giving me hope that she will still run on my machine. I can't wait to take my Huey and spend and good few hrs transiting that map.

I appreciate Wags has asked us not to record it and stream after this event, and I'm fairly sure if anyone did it would be taken down fairly quickly. Sadly from a personally selfish point of view, I really really hope Wags changes his mind and allows this to be shown on YouTube. I don't care about the crashes and the errors, it's an alpha for gods sake, but I would love to be able to watch it through without the pauses, and my twitch app crashing. Just because even with the issues it's still pretty bloody stunning.

Fantastic work guys. Truely stunning work.

Great job Matt. Having been to the area quite a bit the NTTR map does a good job of replicating the look of the area. Looking forward to future streams.

It was a very good stream overall. Showing off the new scaling system (a surprise) and the AI options in the mission editor were especially nice. It's hard to tell just what the scaling will look like on my end due to twitch cutting resolution to 720p and the inevitable loss from streaming itself, but I could see the target dots reasonably well despite it. This should make WVR fighting far more viable and solve my biggest gripe about DCS currently.

The map itself is fairly nice. It is desolate but has a lot of interesting areas. I was hoping for Wags to do a split-s and go back to hoover dam so we could see it from the downstream side. Guess I'll have to wait till next time. And yeah, there are definitely going to be some air races along the Colorado. The other area I wanted to see closer up (preferably in a chopper or tank) is the nuclear testing area. I want a good look at some of the bigger craters, mostly because that type of thing would be nothing but a decal anywhere else. I'm betting they are 3d on this map. On a final note, those open ended hangers are an obvious target for some barnstorming in the slimmer planes.

Thanks for the stream that was very nice. In my humble opinion it still isn't as pretty as the other Flight Sims out there (P3D, Xplane, FSX) but it's getting there!

The Las Vegas part was really good looking, the trees and mountains not so much... The lighting is very nice though. Looking forward to more livestreams. :)

Damn it, of course i missed it :(

I see you people talking about scaling. Is it something like in Il2 Sturmovik where you can see the dots of the enemy planes when they are far in the distance to make it easier to identify them?

Yes, its not so much a scaling solution, like smart scaling, its different. I am sure they will discuss more as it get refined... but anyways, this is why I asked people not to get too excited till 2.0 gets closer ;)

It reminded more of how F4 allowed the player to scale aircraft larger. It's not exactly the same, just reminds me of it.

Really liked how the lakes and rivers are looking. No more optical illusions with the water. Gotta dig that. I've been burned (or is it soaked?) many times flying too close to the water and thinking I'm higher than I actually am.

Why is it again that this stream can't be posted so others can observe?

I don't understand the logic, and without knowing the pragmatic reasons my default reaction is very negative.

Please help me understand the logic and avert my negative default reaction.

As a fan and supporter I just want to see what others were able to.

People would just nit-pick it apart, even though it isn't even done yet. That's just they way many people are. They don't need any more fuel..
