Manzanita Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 -snip- Hey Razbam, I really love the texture work that guys have done. I also love the weathering details that you guys have added onto the aircraft. It makes it look much more realistic. Keep up the good work! I hope you guys have planned to make the helmet covers in MARPAT and desert camo. That would be amazing!

Well, this is still a work in progress, we are aware of the pilot "issue" and in due time, it will be solved

That looks rather odd with how the reflections are being displayed. WIP I take it? .Tigre. Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 If I can afford, the reflections on the canopy are really exaggerated, they look like those of a pair of Ray Ban mirror...
Zeus67 Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 If I can afford, the reflections on the canopy are really exaggerated, they look like those of a pair of Ray Ban mirror... ED is trying to simulate this effect: 1 "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning." "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."
Ratcatcher Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 ED is trying to simulate this effect: I'm afraid they have a ways to go then. Of all the shots I have seen of aircraft in the air, I have not seen any that look like those screen shots. I hope its going to be considerably toned down. Personnaly I have never had a problem with how the canopys currently look. .Tigre. Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 ED is trying to simulate this effect... Thank you for the clarification, we hope they can make the effect of reflection more adhering to reality.. Meanwhile, congratulations on the good job you are doing with the Harrier:thumbup: :pilotfly: 1
Koriel Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Let's hope they don't overdo things again.. It's really nice to have these effects, but just because you have it doesn't mean you have to implement it over the top. (Wingtip vortices etc.. ) And Razbam guys, I have so much respect for you!. Awesome plane, awesome development speed (from what I can see) and the way you guys keep us in the loop is even more awesome!
Sport Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 ED is trying to simulate this effect: Except that effect is caused by using a polarized filter on a camera... I think a little better balance on the reflective aspect of the canopies could be achieved Come check me out on YouTube! Twitch!
