I guess they're at a point where there is no news to give. This has to be understood. There will be some weeks where there is nothing reveal. I'm actually surprised there is a weekly letter considering that not too long ago we were getting monthly news. It's just a dry spell for the moment maybe?

Didn´t Sith say it was "super duper close"?!

I´m hoping for something this weekend. it would certainly be nice to try out a new Hawk EFM.

Yes, meaning the testers have access to it now, internal testers are always the last step before public release. So we are right there, as long as no major issues arise.

But they are constantly workin at the F/A-18c module, don't get me wrong I respect them but if they are going to announce a module they should update us with their progress, as well as they could update us with the AJS-37, and there is an example of a reasonable hold off of information, such as the AJS-37 it was a secret until 2016 and now it's already >95% done.

As well as the Mirage 2000c update it's already on DCS 2.0 but not on 1.5.3 where the majority of people resides.

At this point any information from them would be highly appreciated on the upcoming modules, I mean 2016 is promising to be the greatest year in DCS history and we haven't had a development update since January.

They are deep in coding systems for the Hornet, there is nothing interesting to say about that, you just have to accept its being worked on.

I guess you are right, and I wasn't really thinking soberly I am just really eager to get a new module. But I have to say coding information interests some of us, as we work in that field. and most importantly I hope in the long run they will have a bucket of information for us that will keep us going for a while.

The F/A-18c is probably more complex than the a-10c. I'm suprised they even had a rough estimate as to when it will be flyable. They have been working on it for years. And alot of the radar systems are completely new. Ground radar and such. Maybe we will get an approximation of iff but we'll see.

Later in 2016 was mentioned in a January newsletter. I'd say that's a pretty rough estimate. :)

Take account the last "big" newsletter was 1 month ago (29 January with WW2, F/A-18C, BSK F-5, Carrier modules, L-39ZA), February was not a big newsletter. Expected see another on last march (if applicable).

No update today? :-(

You can not expect every week some big news - let they work on updates and new stuff - and if they have something to report - they will tell us.

Hi scotch....!

At least more often than at our "X" sim :-)

I actually couldn't start it again since becoming a true addict of DCS et al... :-)

I've offered my Nevada license to a friend, who will give better use to it - same for the Mig-21 - and will concentrate in the Caucasus Map while the Normandy isn't available - that will be my main aim when announced...

Caucasus will suffer further updates to make it fully 2.0 ( EDGE ) compatible I belive. If collidable trees are going to be added to Caucasus I really don't know, but I would certainly welcome it if it doesn't act hard on my fps... Seeing the guy in front of me escaping through the tree tops and into them is not the best of the experiences :-/

Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...

Yep, I'm pretty much in the same position. Since getting DCS a few months back I didn't boot up X-Plane once and ended up 'Joseing' it from my hard drive last week. DCS has made it seem just so...unconvincing.

Really enjoying the prop planes, particularly Mustang, in DCS. Airframe responses to stick movements / environmental stimuli like wind just seem so much more plausible than X-Plane.

The major goals right now are getting 2.0 to release, not much news is going to really come with that work I would imagine, besides patches.

Im waiting this too.

Thank for confirmation.
