bunraku Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Hi I'm currently using a 24" monitor, but thinking of upsizing to help me spot enemy pixels in the distance. Just as a matter of interest I was wondering what size of monitor everyone else plays on? Thanks
derfritz Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 21" sadly... It really sucks, I have to be like 30cm from my Monitor to be able to see anything. And to centermount my warthog I need a bigger screen, since I would have to sit further away from it. A friend of mine has 27" and it is perfect for DCS. Gesendet von meinem E6653 mit Tapatalk
bunraku Posted March 26, 2016 Author Posted March 26, 2016 Yeah I am thinking of upgrading from 24" to 27". Seems the way to go.
bart Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I'm using a 32" Sony Brava flat screen TV. I sit around 5ft away from the screen and can see everything including gauges etc no problem. It works well for me. badbud Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 42 incher for me. About 22 inches from my glasses and feels just about the size of a real cockpit for me. BadBud

Mango Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 27" seems to be the sweet spot for a desktop gaming monitor. I have a 27" 1080p AOC LED monitor and really like it. Bigger would be uncomfortable and smaller would be.... smaller!
apolloace Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I have a 22" Samsung monitor, but wish I had a bigger one. Sitting about 2 feet away, sometimes I need to look closer to spot the enemy.
